Historically, Nintendo consoles have always been on point when it comes to the variety of colours that are available. While not everyone is always pleased with the launch colours, most of its formats have had their fair share of special editions and additional options to give everyone a chance at picking a unit that best expresses themselves. While the standard size New 3DS has removable cover plates to give you even more options, the 3DS XL still sticks with a certain colour for each unit, and Nintendo has just unveiled two new variations for those who are interested.

The two new colours are Lime x Black and Pink x White, and they'll launch on June 9th for 20,304 yen ($186 or £129) in Japan. Whether or not these units will ever make it West is still up in the air, but for those of you who must have these, you may want to consider pre-ordering. Here's a couple more photos:
