Keiji Inafune is one of the best known game creators in the industry, and a designer that commands a great deal of respect. As a result it's intriguing to see him create a stage in Super Mario Maker while citing some principles first formed in the early Mega Man games.

That's the idea behind a Polygon video in which we see Inafune-san working on and explaining his own stage. Of course, the comments section in YouTube is full of complaints about the ongoing wait for Mighty No. 9. We'll all be relieved when that saga ends...
