Not long now!

In just a few weeks, Star Fox Zero will finally be made available to the public, marking the first release of a console Star Fox game since the release of Star Fox: Assault back in 2005. Though early impressions of the game were a bit middling at its E3 reveal last year, recent footage indicates that it's all come together very nicely. Also, it doesn't hurt that Project Guard – now Star Fox Guard – will come packaged with the game.

In order to get some more hype generated ahead of release, Nintendo's Japanese Youtube account has posted videos showcasing Star Fox Zero and Guard. They go fairly in-depth, covering all the major aspects of the two games while showcasing some lovely footage. And, of course, Slippy's voice is just as irritating in Japanese as it is in English.

What do you think? Will you be picking up Star Fox Zero? Are you pleased with how it's shaping up? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
