Mega Man Legacy Collection came out on 3DS this week at a bargain price on the eShop (in Europe and North America) or priced at $29.99 in NA if you want a box, some stickers and free HOME themes. It's a rather appealing offering, overall, with six NES games, challenge stages and lots of galleries and goodies to enjoy.
Though Capcom's done a decent job showing it off to Western audiences, we have to share the latest Japanese trailer for the collection. In terms of stylishly selling the concept it absolutely nails it, utilising retro assets in flashy ways while also showing off the features and even the accompanying HOME Themes (which can be bought separately, too). I hope that maybe this is a step towards Capcom finally making a new Mega Man game
I was able to pick up the last physical copy of this game at my local gaming store yesterday.
The Japanese version TOTALLY dumps on the European version!

@NinjaAceTrainer I mean this and his inclusion in Smash have to help his case just a little. Capcom must see the intense fan outpour for a new game. They have to see it.
Has anyone picked this up yet? Curious if some of the issues people noted with other version (PC etc) have carried over or whether people are enjoying these ports.

$30 for six ancient titles? Capcom have lost it. Didn't Sega and Taito release compilations chock full of Megadrive and arcade titles a while back for half the price (and with a wealth of extras for each of the 20+ games on each compilation)? This is why people use emulators. Lunacy.
@Rei Sorry, I meant the commercial, not the actual game. I think they are pretty much the same except different languages.
Also, I think the 3DS is region-locked, so you might have to buy it from the e-shop if possible...
I got my hands on the collectors edition on Tuesday! Best game purchase of the new year so far. The Japanese trailer is so much better.
@MrPuzzlez I see. The West is usually less creative.
My consoles were lowered to 9.2, I can use homebrews/RegionFree without any problem. ^^ (the only one will be the shipping costs xD)
