Splatoon is not only a fun game, but it's also succeeded in getting some of its characters and quirks into popular culture - well, Nintendo culture. The Squid Sisters are a part of this, with their bizarre voices, dancing and singing being part of the game's charm.

In Japan, though, these things can go from being fun in-game features to coming out into the real world. Following the trend of computer generated characters becoming music stars in their own right, below you can see a live Squid Sisters concert, with plenty of fans waving glowsticks to all the upbeat tracks. This was originally broadcast on NicoNico and, by the power of YouTube rips, can now be enjoyed by all.

It looks like a fun time, and StreetPass hits much have been off the chain.

With thanks to Benson for the heads up.
