When it comes to 3DS RPG releases in North America, Atlus is the publisher at the forefront of a number of the finest arrivals in recent years. The Legend of Legacy is yet another example, headed to the region on 13th October.
Developed by FuRyu, with hugely respected industry figures involved such as Tomomi Kobayashi (SaGa series), composer Masashi Hamauzu (SaGa, Final Fantasy XIII), and writer Masato Kato (Chrono Trigger), this title adopts formations in battles and is a campaign that can be tackled through seven perspectives from the core cast.
We were rather impressed in our first impressions, and the good news is that it's arriving in North America on 13th October. The even better news for those planning to pre-order is that the launch edition looks like a beauty - it'll be the version received with pre-orders and some launch stock. Priced at $39.99/CA$49.99, it'll have a 40 page hardcover artbook and a ten-track soundtrack CD, all in a 6" x 8" box.

Day one of it stays at 40$. This one I may have to pick up and pre-order as I want the extras.

@ThomasBW84 I was more hoping it was because they were localizing someone else's game but sad to say Stella Glow seems to be the second set of price points I mentioned.
Hopefully the dreaded Atlus tax doesn't rear its ugly face with this one.

This looks like it is staying at $40 even for the LE, but hell I'd pay $50, mainly cause that art book looks mighty impressive. I'll pay off my Fallout 4 Preorder and put money down for this and Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer!!!! (HHD seems to get better and better, with each passing day)
Ok, I'll say it...this looks like a Bravely Default knock-off. Does that matter to anyone? I guess I'm biased since Bravely Default was the first JRPG I ever played.
@masfueg0 I'd be kinder and say "similar to" and not knockoff, but otherwise I got the same vibe. But since I got close to 100 hours for BD and had each character max level/max job levels, I don't consider that a bad thing.
@panurgeJr I mean that's fair. I guess for me since I have a large back log to play through, I'm gonna skip this one. I'm currently playing Persona Q, Omega Ruby and I need to play Fire Emblem still. Not to mention I have interest in EO2, Final Fantasy Explorers in January and Bravely Second in 2016 (hopefully). haha

That bundle is looking nice. I'm not sure yet whether I want this game, but would probably preorder it instantly if they sold this bundle in Europe.

That seems like a really good price from what I know about US dollars. I might get this if it comes to Europe.

This is the game I have been waiting for besides X for a while now. I'm happy. It is a day one purchase and it has an outstanding pedigree . So you know it's good.
I went ahead and ordered 3 of these from Best Buy. For $31.99 each, why not. Meant to order just 2 for in store pickup (shipping might crush box) and cancel my original order, but then I saw I used a $10 promo code and don't wanna hassle with getting a new one. My brother has a birthday October 10, I'll just give him one.

I'm sobbing at how badly-timed this release is, right in the middle of deep schoolwork, and Atlus just goes on ahead and gets me hyped for this LE.
I already had to skip EO2U for now because of the timing, and I'm hoping for a delay for Project Mirai DX so I could catch the LE, now this comes along and I'm too happy to skip it!
@TheWPCTraveler You will appreciate EO2U more when you can get it on a nice sale anyways! School work is more important as the game will always be there. Well at least in eshop form.
@readyletsgo It is coming to Europe courtesy of NISA early in 2016.
Unfortunately NISA are not renowned for offering the same 3DS special editions. Case in point, SMT Devil Survivor 2 came in the US with a soundtrack, whilst we get decal stickers 8/ !!!

I'm pretty sure this is only $40 since Atlus is just localizing it overseas. If it was one of their self created games like SMT or Etrian Odyssey, it would likely be fifty.

It's just that the timing is horrible, and I actually want the LE for this. I guess I'll end up picking this up as a late birthday present, then.

Not so sure I can handle another JRPG at the moment. I have FFVII, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, and I am also kinda hooked on World of Warcraft and MH4U at the moment, so that isn't helping.
Very nice though. If this was Bravely second, I would be buying it. But since I have never even heard of this before, and it doesn't look to terribly special (no offense, just looks pretty basic) I think I will pass.
I am obsessed with artbooks though....

After 4 months of unsuccessful search for a regular european in-box game (I hate those stupid minimalist prints for RPGs), this collector US launch edition proved to be way easier to get! 10minutes internet researches, purchased this week and received today. (not having the french translation will only bother the ones I could have lend it to)
I should do the same with Stella Glow now...
