Square Enix’s highly-acclaimed fantasy JRPG, Bravely Default, was a critical hit here in the west when it was released in 2013. With the release of the sequel in Japan last month, the real question now is when will Bravely Second be localised?
In an exciting development, Square Enix has just trademarked Bravely Second in Europe. Given the fact this trademark has been filed so close to E3, an announcement during the annual expo regarding localisation here in the west could be on the cards at the Nintendo Digital Event or Square Enix’s press conference. Both of these events take place on 16th June.
Let us know in the comments if you think this trademark will result in a localisation announcement.

I think it's a safe bet considering it sold better than they expected in the West. But think how amazing it would be if they announced this AND DQVII were both coming this year!
That's great news hopefully it'll be out this year I loved the first game I just hope the last third of the game is a bit better this time
Hopefully it is on its way out of Japan. Oh Bravely default, how I wish your character models looked closer to your character art. I still need to finish the first one though.
YES! So happy about this. Loved the first one, hopefully this is just as good. Been listening to the Soundtrack lately and it's finally growing on me, too.
I still need to get and play the first one....
My guess is that Nintendo will announce the localization in their Nintendo Direct and then Square will provide more details at their event.
With Bravely Second, Etrian Untold 2, Fire Emblem IF, Stella Glow etc there are lots of RPGs coming to the 3DS. However, I hope this does not become like the PSP where 2 out of every 3 games were RPGs toward the end of its life. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE RPGs. It is my favorite genre. However, I would like to see some variety as well. Hopefully Nintendo will announce at least 3 great games that are not RPGs at E3.
BRAVELY SECOND RELEASE IN EUROPE BEFORE AMERICA CONFIMED!?
Would be nice if they gave us some VC support too like classic Final Fantasys and Super Mario RPG etc. DFdnt they even rerelease the very first Final Fantasy as a 3D Classic on 3DS in Japan?
Square-Enix remembering the existence of anything outside of Japan is already a surprise, but them caring about Europe - Europe! - first, well, almost feels like a hoax.
A delightful one, at that.
This and DQ VIII better be coming to north America! !
