While many are enjoying a new way to play as everyone's favourite super fighting robot in Smash Bros., let us not forget the fully unplugged experience coming in the form of Mega Man: The Board Game. Developer Jasco games has been working steadily on the project since blasting their Kickstarter goal early this year, and the work-in-progress is looking quite nice.
Jasco recently showed off some final renders and sculpts for the board game's figures, each receiving final approval from Capcom. Color is next, and then it shouldn't be much longer before the game lands on the shelves of collectors and board game enthusiasts alike. For those curious how the game works, a how-to video is provided to show the ropes.

Looks great, I love board games, and Mega Man. Might pick this up!
Will buy.
Purely as a board game, didn't look awesome.
As a piece of fantastic fan service, doesn't get much better.
Did anyone from this site back the KickStarter project?
Looks pretty cool! Was never really into MM myself(I just couldn't get past any bosses ever, I could get through the stages though), but this looks like a great thing for fans!
Oh dear... I am so buying this
And yet still no new megaman game. Damn crapcom!
this.is.awesome.
It's quite sad that we're seeing all this MegaMan stuff at the moment - The comics are still going, an appearance in Smash Bros., the old games coming out on Virtual Console; yet nothing from Capcom about a new game.
The 3DS is crying out for a 2D MegaMan game, even on eShop.
That would have made myself a happier child 15 years ago.
