i remember buying MH3 for wii and i got a figure of that weird bird for free. no preorder, no special edition.

I am still wondering if there will be a MH4 Special Edition, otherwise im getting this!

Can someone tell me why I am just not interested in this series? I played the Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Demo and the controls were a pain. I eventually figured how to use the controls and so I figured I should just go on ahead to Plesioth. Yeah... that didn't end well. XD I still cannot beat him to this day and that makes me question if I can beat the game at all. Lol because surely there are monsters stronger than him, so I just decided, eh.. Maybe this just isn't for me.

And the best release for 2015 just got even better. Will be picking this up for sure.

Sweet! I have the normal Gore Magala figure, it's a decent price considering these figures are 12-15 dollars each. I hope they come out with a NEW 3DS bundle. I'm probably dreaming though.

@Superstick The demo doesn't do the game justice. The game is way too deep for a simple demo. They start you off easy and build you up to the tough monsters. By then you'll have better armor and stronger weapons. I've destroyed a great Jaggi with three hits before.

As awesome as this is im hoping for that MH4U New 3DS XL bundle!!!! Cause in all honesty that is much better than this special edition…unless of course we're talking about the First Print Edition Bayonetta 2 than well yes that is way more awesome!

The demo is absolute potato quality for newcomers into the series. as a newcomer, I was immediately appalled by the game and didn't look back at the game until I heard positive things about it on reddit and word of mouth. So I bought the game. long story short, the game teaches you how to play better than the demo does.

really hopeing that this and the New 3DS XL come to the UK.. Id really like Both lol

Like others said, the demo ain't a good place to start.
Besides, the demo version of the Plesioth fight actually REQUIRES LUCK in order to beat, since you're only given 15 minutes with 'meh' equipment. Not to mention the damned thing just LOVES running away.

Of course ill preorder!

Looks pretty good for only $20 extra. The figure along would probably be $10-$15 if sold by itself. I might just go ahead and pre-order it myself.

@Tsurii897 i'll be honest im glad Europe is starting to get some nice exclusives in NA we've been spoiled and in a perfect world every limited edition would get a worldwide release…oh and nothing would be region-locked but with that said im definitely jelly about that 1st print Bayo2 in fact i would trade that to that gorgeous MH4U new 3ds xl bundle which we both agree would prefer. Besides i need to have my MH games downloaded because u never know when ur gonna want to hunt!

But now i must go back to W101 b/c the only solace i have to not being to get that 1st print edition Bayo2 is Pure Platinum medals…besides i gotta make sure im ready for Oct 24th!

The demo was a bad idea overall but l killed the plesioth in 9min because l have played other mh games if u don't know how to play you don't have a chance to kill him, this looks great but l also would like the new 3ds xl bundled with the game!

Ha! Same with me. The demo turned me off just like W101 demo. But others pointed out, the demo will do you know good. I'm waiting for a sale to get MH3 since it's already an old game or I'll just wait if they bring MH4 on the WiiU.

@BensonUii I would assume @sinalefa isn't giving Capcom any money for the same reason as me, because of the crap they pulled with the Resident Evil Remake and especially Revelations 2.

It's the remake of the first RE in the first PlayStation? Yeah, I would really like to play that game again on my WiiU. The first trilogy actually. Anyway, I think @sinalefa is planning to get XBOne for that Platinum game so there must be another reason besides it.

@BensonUii Oh, right. Well that's my reasoning anyway. That, and I'm not a fan of Monster Hunter anyway.

@BensonUii Sure the original game was Playstation exclusive but this isn't just a remake of that, it's a HD remaster of the Gamecube exclusive remake released in 2002, it's the typical approach of Nintendo hardware helping a series and then future versions (HD remasters/sequels) being on everything but Nintendo hardware.

@Superstick xD that's not how the game works!! You start off collecting mushrooms and such and then slowly start getting used to your chosen weapon. It'll eventually feel like a part of you, and you'll also get to know each monster well. Also, the plesioth is a very advanced monster!

If only there was an option to get this set with a digital copy of the game. Having all my 3DS games installed on my SD card is SOOOO convenient.

There is a part of that and also Capcom just releasing SF, RE and MH. Overall their quality has taken a hit so I don't think I will buy any of their new games.

Definitely gonna preorder this. Wasn't to big into the third one but it looks like they are fixing a lot.of the problems I had with the third one.

hope it launches alongside the New 3DS, so they can bring that limited edition New XL over.

I just came back from Game Stop. Apparently, nothing came, and I couldn't pre-order it. The Gamestop website says that they're "not available." I really hope that this just means that the retail stores are still updating their lists. I DO NOT want to miss out on this like with Wind Waker! DX
