Link Between Worlds Banner NEW

From late 2013 and into 2014 Nintendo's best titles on Wii U and 3DS have picked up some notable awards, with landmark releases such as Super Mario 3D World and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds leading the way. The latter has triumphed again at the Game Developers Choice Awards, which are part of this week's GDC (Game Developers Conference) event.

A Link Between Worlds grabbed the Best Handheld / Mobile Game Award, seeing off competition from smart device titles DEVICE 6 and Ridiculous Fishing, PS Vita's Tearaway and fellow 3DS title Fire Emblem: Awakening. Some other games on Nintendo hardware were also nominated in categories or obtained an 'Honorable Mention' — details are below.

The Wonderful 101 (Honorable Mention)

Though there was only one winner on Nintendo hardware, there were certainly some thoroughly respectable nominations and mentions. SteamWorld Dig certainly made an impact, while we're particularly pleased to see the art style of The Wonderful 101 get some recognition.
