Nothing captures the Holiday spirit quite like a line of angry shoppers wrapped around the outside of a Walmart store. On 29th November, Americans will officially ring in the Christmas season with the arrival of Black Friday, that annual all-day shopping event when retailers nationwide offer up countless door-busting deals to the credit card-carrying public.
And it seems Nintendo fans willing to brave the crowds will be rewarded with an assortment of great gaming deals, as the latest sale papers have just been leaked online for several of the biggest game-peddling retail chains.
In addition to the dirt cheap 3DS XL we reported on last week, it seems that console's cousin, the 2DS, will be offered up by Walmart for a mere $99.99. After exiting Wally World's automatic doors with their new solid block of double-dimensional gaming, shoppers searching for some killer software to play on the device can head on over to Toys 'R' Us, where the plaything powerhouse will be running a Buy One Get One 40% Off sale on all video games.
For your home HD console needs, Kmart (yes, it still exists) will feature all Wii U games at $10-15 off, dropping The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD to a mere $39.99, and making the yet-to-be-released Super Mario 3D World $49.99. Meanwhile, a variety of Skylanders merchandise appears to feature prominently in all of the Black Friday ads released thus far.
Will you be venturing into the wilderness on Black Friday to score a basket full of cheap games? Let us know in the comments.

No black friday here in Germany, but I bet the cyber monday week on amazon will have some good offers too.
oh right cybermonday at amazon. totally forgot about that.
just bought animal crossing new leaf so i have plenty to do the next weeks anyway xD
Yes, the elusive Kmart still exists, but remember to be beyond its walls before the fog rolls in and it disappears for another 100 years.
I very much enjoyed the style of this article. 8)
I wish Amazon does something similar, because that is where I make my purchases.
As much as I dislike the 2DS design and I can easily see it selling out at $99 sitting next to a huge X + Y ad. My 3DS owning kid says he can't play White 2 anymore, it's too ugly after X. I've been saying that about most Wii games for the past 4 years since I bought a PS3 but it's the first time he's ever mentioned game graphics before.
As for BF sales, everything is on sale everywhere. Time to shop if you can deal w/ the trampling.
Well since most Walmarts are open 24 hours I can't visualize the line wrapped around the building!
Glad we're out of town black friday
I know I would... 'cept that I don't live in the US of A anymore.
@Amin_and_Azizah ???????? What Handheld Race?!! Lol!! I hope you don't mean that Vita junk. LMAO!!
@Captain_Gonru - I agree......would be nice to let people actually have a holiday to spend with their families.....there is no reason for anything to be open in the States on Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving.
Also Toys R Us will have both Skylanders and Disney Infinity Starter Packs for $27.49 and at Wal-Mart it will be $28.95 which is half off! Also Gamestop will have the new Rayman for $25 and buy one get one free on Disney Infinity single figures.

Walmart has already posted their official ad on their website along with what the Black Friday sites have done.
I remember years ago working in the Disney College Program in the Magic Kingdom of Disney World and while working on Thanksgiving kind of sucked it was a job and that was part of it. That's the thing about jobs though no one is forcing you to work there, you don't like it theres other opportunities out there. Most jobs have something that sucks about it though. Submitted with all due respect towards everyone here.
That's the magic number.
The price should just stay there and not go back up imo. The UK needs to lock the price at £99 too. To me that just feels right for this handheld games console.
In a similar vain I think the Wii U price needs a reduction too because right now it just "feels" too high.
Man, I love the white/red version. Sadly, it's not available in the states. I really want to pick one of these up (especially for the reduced price) but I kind of can't stand the black/blue, black/red designs.
Nintendo will sell like 10 million systems this holiday! xD
Perfect number! Two digits (neglecting the cents of course) is where it's at.
I'm getting animal crossing new leaf and batman arkham orgins blackgate for $25 each on black Friday at walmart! Also plan on getting a Blu-ray player and a couple of Blu-ray discs
Thanksgiving shouldn't even exist but whatever.
Europeans must think we're insane over here in Murica lol, yes Black Friday is our darkest day :/
Black Friday? No...no. It's Black THURSDAY now. Black Friday has completely overtaken Thanksgiving, a holiday which is sadly becoming obsolete. Nonetheless, I expect to see a giant Wii U ad in the store.
