Trivia Title Know Your Friends Is Crashing The Wii U Party

Posted by Damien McFerran

Sex, booze and violence all included, apparently

We all like to think that we're intimately familiar with the secrets of our closest pals, but how much do you really know about what goes on inside the heads of your lifelong friends? Finding out is the aim of party trivia game Know Your Friends, and soon Wii U owners will be able to join in the fun.

The game has been given an ESRB rating which indicates the inclusion of sexual themes, partial nudity and alcohol references.

The full rating summary is well worth a look:

This is a multiplayer trivia game in which players form teams to answer questions about their friends' personalities. Questions are presented in multiple-choice format, as players attempt to guess teammates' answers. Out of hundreds of possible questions, some contain suggestive/sexual references (e.g., “[Player] is wondering what he would accept doing in the name of love during a steamy night in?” “{Player] is choosing 3 objects for a sensual moment as a couple,” and “Which part of the female anatomy do people look at first?”— accompanying images depict cleavage and a close-up of a woman's buttocks (wearing jeans). Some questions are accompanied by still photos of objects such as condoms, whips, and handcuffs; other images depict men and women in revealing outfits (e.g., swimsuits, underwear or lingerie). One question, about a nude beach, briefly depicts a man's bare buttocks. During the course of the game, questions may also reference alcohol and tobacco (e.g., “[Player] is thinking about the things she has done after too much drinking with friends”—the accompanying image depicts a man bent over a toilet; another question asks what object relieves stress—the accompanying image depicts a pack of cigarettes.). One of the screens depicts a still image of a man bound to a chair (e.g., “[Q]Using torture in difficult times is…”).

Sounds like a laugh riot to us. But where are Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Joey, Monica and Phoebe?

Urggggh! I can only imagine what happens when a bunch of teens get a hold of this at a sleepover... :O

Back in the 90s, they had games like Truth or Dare, which are bad enough to incite stupidity in people without requiring a game console for input. Do people really need a freakking console game to stimulate their imagination? Humans have been entertaining themselves for centuries. What happened to old classics like Charades, 20 questions, I spy, not to mention all the myriads of games that can be played with pen and paper??? With all the fancy tech to supposedly make people smarter, instead humanity is getting dumber with each passing decade. :P

I would do anything. But I won't do that.

I think the player has to guess if the bare buttocks belong to Joey, Chandler or Ross. Or maybe Gunther!

Using torture in difficult times is…

… exactly what your girlfriend will do if you give the wrong answers here.

Some things are better left unknown.

Just looking at the article picture made me want to buy this because I loved the show, however it is definitely something else, although still strangely seems interesting, haha.
