We've known for a few days now about Pokémon X & Y limited edition 3DS XL models coming to Japan, with the initial details being restricted to the knowledge that they'd predictably feature newcomers Xerneas and Yveltal. Now we have images of the systems, and they both look like a treat.
First up is the "Xerneas-Yveltal Blue" model, above, which will be on general sale and will include a copy of either Pokémon X or Y, along with the standard 4GB SD card — it'll be available from 12th October for 22,000 Yen. Second we have the Premium Gold bundle, below, which will be sold in Pokémon Centers around Japan; it'll be the same price and have the same packaged goodies.
Both look rather nice, and considering the importance of this release worldwide we'd be very surprised if one, both or another variation of limited edition hardware doesn't arrive in Europe and North America. If these 3DS models aren't enough, a new trailer for the hotly-anticipated title is also below.

That Gold 3DS LL is amazing, hope it makes its way to NA and Europe.
I'm not a fan of either of those. Much prefer the Monster Hunter 4 one that got shown off last month.

I would gladly update my 3DS to XL if either of them came in Europe. I love both designs but I prefer the blue one. I'd buy gold one if I couldn't get blue. I really liked the Charizard 3DS XL design too but these are much better. Please come to Europe.
It seems they still don't get how to make these desings right. Why do they always make the top screen upside down?

Blue is excellent. Gold almost works, but too busy and indistinct on the right hand side.
Still, haven't picked up a 3DS XL, so hoping Nintendo comes up with something besides pink for a new color.

@MAN1AC Keep in mind that these games will be released globally. So don't be surprised if you hear that these bundles will be available everywhere sooner than later.

Blue one is nice, but i don't really like those new legendary designs.
I'll never purchase an XL anyway though, as i'm fine with the OG screen size and the grip i have for it (can't forget also, the anti-consumer measure of not providing a charger... don't support that).
@polpolch I saw that too. Not digging it being a sword though. If you could get another Pokemon to hold it, say Machamp or something, I suppose that'd be kind of cool.
well after seeing what it looks like i dont have the desire to pick one up if it ever came here i prefer that fanmade design picture more then this

You're right, I did. I posted that comment after watching the beginning of the video, since it shows the three previously revealed pre-made characters. Though now that it seems that characters are indeed customizable to a certain extent (I wouldn't call them heavily-customized), it still looks like you need to choose a base character from the three pre-made at the beginning and then can only make customization changes like hair style and color later on. I could be wrong on that, but that's what it seems like to me.
I need the Blue one my favorite color and is a Pokemon XL awesome I just hope that it has X and Y pre installed.
