Not so sneaky

Ubisoft has stepped up its gradual unveiling of Rayman Legends, with the latest trailer and screenshots showing off the "20 000 Lums under the Sea" world.

Rather than simply being underwater levels in the style of those seen in Rayman Origins, this world will introduce new enemies and a light and dark mechanic for "stealth and infiltration"; that certainly goes beyond the "run very fast and punch any enemies in your way" strategy of the musical levels shown off recently.

We shouldn't be too surprised at this approach, as one of the strengths of the level design in Origins was the scope for exploration and seeking out hidden secrets. On top of that it also look very pretty, as you can see in the trailer below.

Of separate interest is that Wii U pre-orders from GAME in the UK can get free content that dresses Barbara as Aveline De Grandpré, the female assassin from Assassin's Creed III Liberation. That makes lots of sense, as that was a Vita-only release. Nevertheless, you can check that out below the trailer.

So, what do you think of this new world, and are you excited about Rayman Legends on the Wii U?
