Now this is how the launches all should've been. THAT'S a lineup. And 3 more next week? I hope at the very least we also get the games at that rate, that could make up for the paltry launch lineup.

...Kinda wished EarthBound was part of our lineup....why do we have to wait until the end of the year again? T.T

And just like that, Japan has already claimed a solid lead on the West that Nintendo of America will never get off their butts and catch up to.

Definitely would be interested in buying Kirby Super Star. Apart from that not much.

Kirby Super Star takes 3-4 years on the Wii VC to appear, only a week to appear for the Wii U VC.
That's a good sign.

@Kaboom: You hit the nail on the head right there.

Well, it's 3DS VC all over again... just on a console... Nintendo of Japan know what the hell they're doing, but once again, not Nintendo of America...

With Iwata making choices for Nintendo in America instead of an older man doing it, we may get more games a week.

If the releases are like this throughout the entire lifespan of the Wii U....never mind, can't talk about that here. Disregard ;)

I'm wary about supporting them through the Virtual Console; don't get me wrong, I want to be supportive, but if the list is only going be three/four per week...yeah, that's gonna go well.

Did NA not download as many VC titles on Wii? We weren't lagging in releases as much back then.

Following this batch, Japan is getting only 3 Wii U VC games that are already on Wii VC? What does everyone else get? One? :p If it's as slow building up Wii U VC library as I fear, I wonder what percentage of the already-available Wii VC library will be available when Wii U's successor is announced? 30-40%? Remember, when Wii came out, there was a FLOOD of VC games, for months.

With Iwata up at bat instead of Reggie here's hoping NOA picks the pace up and we get releases like this.

You know, the way it was when the Wii VC originally started.

@DkFluttershyGuy Yeah, that's what I'm worried about too. There's no reason to go back to one release again while Japan gets 3. When the VC started on the Wii we would get far more releases per week. Hopefully now that Reggie isn't in charge we can go back to that again.

I was hoping we'd get at least 4 games a week. This is a worrying sign, especially since Japan always gets more.

What's Downtown Nekketsu Kōshinkyoku Sore Yuke Dai Undōkai?

And why doesn't Nintendo just put all of the games on the Wii VC on the Wii U right off the bat?

so....we get 8 and they get 14..... interesting... shows even more that they care mostly about Japan...don't more people own the console here in NA than Japan?

If there is one thing that Nintendo needs to fix is the difference on titles between Japan and Europe/America. How many times are we going to do this? Is Wii VC all over again, Japan getting titles every week while we get 1 every month... :(

Another slap in the face to NA/EU... Nintendo has to start considering people outside of Japan if they want to keep people buying their stuff.

I support them every machine, and each machine has less and less games that I like. I love RPGS and games not meant for just children, why do they release so few outside of japan?
