Don't Worry, North American Club Nintendo Issues Are Being Fixed

Club Nintendo members in North America may have noticed that the service is currently experiencing a few difficulties, with users finding that coins are not being deposited in their accounts after filling out surveys.

Nintendo of America is aware of the problem, and has posted the following message on the Club Nintendo site:

Some customers are currently experiencing issues with registrations and earning Coins for surveys. We are actively working to resolve these issues, and apologize for any inconvenience. Please be assured that we will make sure you receive Coins for any eligible registrations or surveys taken during this time.

I was actually on there today filling out surveys and it worked pretty well for me. The only thing I noticed was that when I ordered a reward the site didn't deduced the coins for my game lol.

i thought i saw a bug before were i had bought a game and it didnt deduct the coins right away but nothing to big i was on there earlier adding my game but didnt even check the coins i got for it xP

Obviously, I'm OK with that (I shouldn't get coins for that anyway). But I can't register any of my new game purchases... gotta' get enough coins to get that gold nunchuck!

I really hope this get's fixed,because i was not aware of this and i just bought Transformers Prime for the 3DS and went to register the code,but it said i had already registered it(it was a brand new game,sealed too),so i hope it get's fixed and i get my coins because otherwise i just lost 30 coins :(

It was just yesterday I emailed customer support because I have been having trouble getting coins for the past few weeks. It hit a breaking point this week when I couldn't get coins for the brand new 3DS XL and Wii U I bought on the same day. The only issue I have with their apology is that there was a game or two where I simply didn't fill out the survey because I wasn't getting coins. Now they are expired and so apparently will never get coins for them. Oh well, I'm sitting on a treasure trove of them anyway...

I didn't get the coins for my Little Inferno survey, so hopefully they get this fixed. It's only 20 coins though so not a huge deal. Hopefully they fix this and allow people to delete "To-Do's"! Sometimes I hope to get games only to not get them because of certain reasons (bad reviews, money, ect...) and there is no way to get rid of the "To-Do's". I want those ten coins if I do get the game, but I don't want that game reminding me I didn't get it either haha

Ah, so it was messing up. I did two surveys on Monday and...for me to get coins I have to do the survey twice which I thought was weird because the questions were EXACTLY the same. Good to know. Thanks for this post Damien.

That's far more of an issue.
Not to mention NClub should be universal, UK gets Icarus Card packs, JP gets that awesome Mario crew statue that was a premium reward a while back, US gets nothin useful or new in ages.

@itsanandito You want to see the ... delights... that were the Australian Club Nintendo. I don't know what it was like years ago but since I bought the 3DS last year, even up to 1000 coins only gets an underwhelming choice from a facecloth, pencil case, folding fan, and I think Game & Watch compendium to choose from.
I'm hoping that whenever the Euro catalogue is back in commission - because that's where I've been getting redirected to - that we can trade coins for things a little less esoteric, such as eShop titles... :)
