Harmony of a Hunter: 101% Run, the fan-produced music album of Metroid music and remixes, is now confirmed for a November release. A follow up to the original Harmony of a Hunter double album, 101% Run will feature music that missed out on the first release as well as brand new tracks. Like its predecessor it'll be available as a free download, and based on the quality of the original album may be worth a listen.

If you want to learn more about this project and the motivation for director Darren Kerwin and assistant director Torbjørn 'Falcool' Brandrud, check our our Shinesparkers interview from earlier this year. Updates on the new album can be found on the Harmony of a Hunter Facebook page, while below we have the latest statement from Kerwin and the most recent preview video, full of classic game footage and some excellent Metroid music: what more could you want?

We're very happy to be releasing our third preview of Harmony of a Hunter: 101% Run. We felt it would be quite fitting to release this on Metroid's birthday and also the eve of the first anniversary of the original Harmony of a Hunter. We are really appreciating the support for the album so far and we hope that this next preview will blow you away!

Metroid's anniversary is today!

And still no word from NOA regarding any sort of acknowledgment. :(

But it's early in the day in my part of the world. Who knows, something might happen.

Thanks, hadn't heard about this or the prior album, but free music is nice and this sounds cool.
