This is crazy

SEGA and Disney have collaborated to make Wreck-It Ralph's dreams come true: he's going to be a playable character in upcoming kart racer Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.

The character, who will star in Disney's computer animated movie Wreck-It Ralph, will rev up on the starting line alongside SEGA all-stars including Super Monkey Ball's AiAi, Golden Axe dwarf Gilius Thunderhead and the speedy blue 'hog himself. Plus NASCAR driver Danica Patrick. He will, of course, be bringing his own transformable vehicle to race through the courses, which are set through air and sea as well as land.

Wreck-It Ralph tells the story of Ralph, a video game villain who's tired of being the bad guy in another character's game. He breaks free of his arcade cabinet in search of glory in his own starring hero role, meeting several icons of gaming along the way — including Sonic and Dr Robotnik. Here's the trailer.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed will be out on 3DS and Wii U in November. Wreck-It Ralph will be showing in your local movie emporium around the same time.
