E3 2012: German Mass Effect Team Wants You to Watch Nintendo Conference

Posted by Thomas Whitehead

Why could that be?

The Nintendo press conference is almost upon us, and the German Mass Effect Facebook page has simply advised its followers to watch Nintendo's E3 press conference. It doesn't say why, which means we can all indulge in some fun speculation.

Due to the power limitations of Wii the Mass Effect series has been a miss for Nintendo gamers. Now that the trilogy is complete, it's possible that a Wii U version could be in the works. The alternative is that the team running that Facebook page is just interested in what Nintendo will say, but that's not as exciting as the alternatives.

So, anyone want Mass Effect Trilogy?

Hmm not sure about a port of 2 and 3.

But if this is a new game or they somehow get all three I will gladly shell out to play my favorite new series this gen all over again.

Already have 1 and 2 on XBox, therefore getting 3 on XBox too. I also believe that the first game is exclusive to 360 and Windows, so Wii U wouldn't get the first game as far as I know.

Though, to get the franchise on a Nintendo console would be a good draw for them come Wii U time!

I know Wii U is going to need support from western devs, but a part of me doesn't want this to be true.

Japanese developed games only, please (at least during the show).

I know The 'U is going to need support from western devs, but I kind of hope they don't give western games too much attention during the conference.

I'm hoping the conference is full of great Japanese titles (Dead or Alive, Soulcalibur, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Ninja Gaiden, Metal Gear, Sonic, Tales, ect,).

Im really hoping for something special from Nintendo. I've got wii, ps3 and 360 so I can get the best of all worlds. Just watched microsofts e3 show nd I actually fell asleep for half hour!!!

I was so underwhelmed by what they had to show. I've been playing the 360 less and less over the last 6 months or so. I went through my school days with a nes and snes, really wanna see Nintendo back on top again with proper innovative enjoyable core games.

I wonder what they'll do with the gamepad. Perhaps some of the little iOS Mass Effect trinkets?
