The 3DS seems to be getting a lot of RPGs.

...I hope there are sidequests and optional bosses too. One of the main reasons why I loved the first game. (never got a chance to try the 2nd)

I hope this 35 hour Campaign doesn't include training on low level enemies for a boss or the arena that's 20-30 levels above the next closest enemy in the game.

That was BS and happened in both KH 1 AND 2. WHY DON'T YOU GET EXP FROM THE ARENAS. WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THAT.

Hm...that seems like a pretty good length for an RPG. Wasn't there a confirmation from Square Enix that the game would be released in North America and Europe this summer?

There was something about, that the game will be released in EU and US about 4/5 months after the Japanese premiere.

35 hours is long ? been playing final fantasy 6 on PSN and im at 50 hours,yet my characters arent even at half they level cap.
my final fantasy 7 clock was huge too. Heck, The Worlds ends with you took me 68 hours to complete, and i didnt even finished everything.
How about final fantasy 12.... 155 hours !!
Disgaea 1 on ps2.... 238 hours.
so of course we hope for at least 35 hours from a main campaign, thats a minimum for an RPG. 35 hours is not long for an rpg. its just ok. i hope there is another 35 hours for sidequests, unlockables,secrets or just level grinding times.

This is my most wanted game of the year so far, the Japanese artwork looks awesome too.

@Shingi_70 Why? If its because of all the other games coming out this year, that's not a good reason. You can just buy it at a later date, no ones forcing you to get it on release day.
@samholy TWEWY took you 68 hours? Wow, I beat that game in around 27-30 hours. Although I was focusing on the main story and was intending on doing the sidequests after beating the game.

Becuase this is the Game before Kingdom Hearts 3 and its been confrimed that KH3 won't see the light of day until Veruses is done. That's going to be a while as the game is in development hell. So it makes more sense to release the final Chapter before the end closer to the part 3.

35 hours isn't that long, however it is a good length. Will definitely be picking this up. The artwork is lovely.

only 35 hours? i'm dissapointed. RPG's should be way longer than that if they do it right.

@Shingi_70 Sorry for jumping to conclusions like that but if that's the case, maybe they could remake the earlier titles and release them for Nintendo consoles in that long gap. It would be great if they did.

@Samholy I totally agree with you! I am playing Etrian Odyssey II for DS. I spent around 100 hours in the game and i am not even close to the end. 35 hours is standard length for RPG games.

Has there been confirmation yet over whether this will include 358/2 days and KH Re:coded?

Easily my most anticipated game of the year (KH is my favorite game franchise right behind Zelda)! I'm not going to be able to get many retail releases this year for my 3DS, so the three I have picked out so far are RPGs (for length reasons). I'm going to get Tales of the Abyss, Kingdom Hearts: DDD, and Paper Mario*. I've already got MGS3D (not an RPG, I know), and I might be able to get one more retail game besides the ones I mentioned, but I'm not sure what it's going to be (hopefully the new Fire Emblem is released Stateside this year, because that's what it will be if it is).

60 hours in Final Fantasy is a joke. Especially when you meet the GameOver screen and start from the last checkpoint and lose everything after that point which amounts to regrinding and doing things over again. Not too frequent, but when it happens, I give up on the game for a day. Or two.

That's why I prefer Dragon Quest. KH thankfully isn't too punishing..

Yeah. I'm getting this. Also seriously looking forward to the Tron-themed world, as it looks good, and I'm really interested in how they'll incorporate it into the game. _{plus, Quorra~ <3}

TRON. I can't wait for the Tron Legacy level.

My thoughts exactly.

This is a preorder game for me. In relation to the length, I generally get more hours of gameplay because I like to spend a lot of time exploring and generally screwing about; 35 hours of gameplay does not worry me as I will certainly stretch it out

TBH I don't really care about Tron. Never saw the film either.

I could care less how long it is, I would pay full price if it was just an hour long. I've always had a soft spot for Kingdom Hearts. :3

And I was worried it wouldn't be long and boring.

The only 3DS games I've played for longer than that so far are Mario Kart 7, Resident Evil: Revelations and Zen Pinball 3D so I'd be satisfied with that.
Still not sold on it yet though.

Here's to hoping TRON gets put in the game somewhere!

Looking forward to it. I really like KH 1, 2 and Birth By Sleep but was never really able to get into the DS games. Everything I've read about this one though has me seriously considering a pre-order.

I wish there is multiplayer in this game...

I expect a Daft Punk soundtrack during the Tron levels!

Having played every other KH game out there this is something i can't wait for, i've been waiting for a really good kh game to come out again and i think this will be it.

Lol, it took me like half a year to complete the original kh game so I dont think this is a problem
