Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows DS Looks Like This
Posted by James Newton
Could it be magic?
The boy wizard might be facing his final adventure at the box office, but he's got at least two more DS games in him, with LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 due later this year. It's not the only magical outing though, as next week sees Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II - The Video Game — surely the best name for a game ever — released on Wii and DS.
The game ties-in with the final cinematic outing for Harry and friends, and although it'll miss 3DS it's at least going to make a handheld appearance on DS.
Here's the official trailer for the game.

That doesn't look that bad. Though the best Harry Potter game is the RPG one they made for GBC, based on the first film.

Glad this isn't trying to come to our 3DS.

Looks like it was inspired by...the LEGO version of itself.
Also, way to give away the totally lame-looking ending (if that's what it is) in the trailer.
Since I don't watch the movies, I wish they split Deathly Hallows into even more parts so there'd be a Harry Potter game for 3DS.

@ Aviator
There's also an RPG based off of the second book which is even better than the first one.

Ugh, that's hideous.
Also, I've always been of the philosophy that if you're making a game and you feel like you have to tell people it's a video game on the box itself... you shouldn't make the game. Imagine how much we would have saved ourselves from with that little rule.

I really want an MMO. Hogwarts is the perfect base.

They look like midgets. My favorite Harry Potter game will always be the GBA version of the first game.

As much as I love Harry Potter,
this game looks dumb.

I wonder why they are releasing a DS version but not a 3DS version you would think they would want to support the new consule more than the old one.

The Order of the Pheonix was the best one imho. There others were average at best except for Deathly Hallows 1 - which was awful (wii version)

@9 Look up "Pottermore" on Wikipedia or a search engine.
Wow, those graphics are absolutely terrible! If those graphics are any indication of the quality of the rest of the game, it will surapass the Wii version of Deathly Hallows Part 1 as the worst Harry Potter video game.
@14 Order of the Phoenix was pretty good, but the combat had very unresponsive and inconsistent motion controls and occurred way too rarely. Other than the Lego game, my favorite one is the console versions of Chamber of Secrets.

...And before you know it the game becomes just another crappy movie tie in.

i think its ironic that at the end of the video Harry's magic is red colored , which is usually the color of evil. I guess Harry snapped and turned evil LOL

Haha, the wand tottling between Harry and Voldemort seemed "epic" indeed
Looked like an accident "What am I doing... Oh I'm fighting Voldemort"
