What are Nintendo's plans for the future?

It may have come to your attention that the Game Developers Conference is currently on-going over in San Fransisco. Generally, there aren't any new game announcements at the show, but there are always some interesting roundtables, Q&As and keynotes. Case in point: Satoru Iwata will be holding a keynote today.

Titled Video Games Turn 25: A Historical Perspective and Vision for the Future, Mr. Iwata will be talking about Nintendo's past efforts, the 3DS and Wii, and what they've got in stock for the future. Perhaps most interestingly, Nintendo has a history of showing a new trailer for an upcoming Zelda game at the GDC, so perhaps we'll be treated to another surprise this year.

Thankfully, you don't have to wait for reports of attendees or live blogs to be written, as you can watch the keynote right from the comfort of your home. You're a bit late to watch it live now, but you can head over to the page Nintendo's created for it to watch an archived version.
