Budding firefighters can start tackling those flames later in the year

French development studio Yullaby is taking things back to the Game & Watch days with a new "beginner-friendly" title. Fire Panic is a game that requires the player to map out a route on the lower screen for the fire engine to travel by in order to extinguish a series of fires on the street map.

As you can see from the screenshots, the game will combine the retro visuals from a top-down view, with the modern input capabilities of a touchscreen interface.

Fire Panic will be released on the App Store this week, with a DSiWare version scheduled in the coming months.
