Everybody do the conga

We first brought you news on NIS America's upcoming WiiWare game back in December, and now we've been infected with some screenshots and an official press release.

Viral Survival (JP title: Escape Virus) is an "escape" action game where you control a DNA unit and dodge through enemy virus attacks. If you save a friendly unit they will connect to you, creating a tail. The more you save, the higher points you will accumulate.

There are 3 types of friendly DNA: red, white, and blue. If you save them, they will connect to you and follow you around. It's very patriotic in a sense. Collecting as many friends as you can without getting caught by a virus is the name of the game. However, you do have some attack items, such as Bomb Vaccines and Ammo Capsules to fend off those pesky viruses.

You can also create a profile to interact with other VS players around the world with the World Ranking option. Compare your score with those of other players in the world. Your ranking will be registered under your profile name and published on the Web!

We've already had some hands-on time with the game in its Japanese version, and Viral Survival is certainly developing all the symptoms of being an interesting WiiWare title when it spreads across Europe this Spring.
