Maybe they didn't release anything on Friday for Europe Or Australia Because if Super Mario Kart came out on Friday it would be the 300 for Australia, 320 for Europe. Since NA is geting it on Monday it will be the 330 release.

SMK = No thanks (Got MKDS)
Pilotwings = No thanks (Got the 64 sequel)
SSB = No thanks (Got SSBB, and I am still burned out)

I just played some Super Mario Kart on SNES within the past week. It really doesn't hold up too well nowadays. I think I'll pass on the download. Pilotwings? Bleh. Super Smash Bros.? Maybe...I haven't decided yet.

I'm with you, Corbie. The original SMK still is the best one by far. I still regularly hook up my SNES just for the SMK battle mode with a couple of friends.

Earthbound..! x( Indeed. I've played it on an emulator, but I want to try the real thing..! And don't blame me for being illegal, what other options do I have? The game was never released in Europe, and importing a copy and buy an NES would cost a fortune... I would buy Earthbound the it hit VC, if it does.

What great news to wake up to, it's great that the mighty Nintendo finally saw sense and are putting this up on VC, even if it is 3 years late!

Great news but I thought it'd come to the UK first as Nintendo having been doing with most of their big VC titles - oh well can't have them all.

Hope we get it soon - it's such a fantastic game. I'd go as far to say it's one of the best 16-bit titles of all time. I've actually played it recently on a friend's old SNES console and it's still just as fun - I suppose if you have never played it before it wont have the same appeal, but if you have then the nostalgia goes through the roof!

Odds are that we'll be seeing this one here on Friday...I can't wait

Don´t get Mario Kart for SNES, it´s better the Mario Kart for GBA. It`s the same gameplay, updated graphics and includes all SNES tracks, and 4 player action.

I always hated PIlotwings, but it's still nice to see it released. Super Mario Kart is awesome and Super Smash Brothers is nice for those that don't realize its outdated.

The feather was awesome, great for jumping barriers and landing in the water. You could really escape the koopa shells flying all over the place. We would have like tons of them just covering the screen when playing battle.

Great game....a little dated, but one of the best battle games in the series.

Not a big fan of Pilotwings.

Super Mario Kart was considered a special game when it first came out. All though I didn't own a Snes at the time, the game was big deal at the time.

i can say i'm not particularly excited about any of these... (though i may check out pilotwings), but a lot of people just had heart attacks after reading this.

Its been years since I have played the original SMK. So consider it downloaded. Overall the Virtual Console has really bounced back since the dry spell this summer.

It might be a 2-week pattern like the Super Star Wars series and myNotebook. So I'm guessing Pilotwings will come out on December 7, 2009 and Super Smash Bros. on December 21, 2009 just before the holidays.

Can't wait for both SSB and SMK. I've been waiting all year for these 2 games.

FINALLY! Not so much because it's Mario Kart but because it's a first party game. It's been half a year sinse we got one. I'm also thrilled that Nintendo addressed Smash Bros. as that has been floating over our heads for sometime. VC is back baby!

I really gotta wonder why Nintendo is giving GAMESTOP of all people the release dates for VC games (it probably has to do with the whole "Gamestop is selling DLC" thing, but I don't wanna think for one minute ), but either way, I'm a very happy person.

Super Mario Kart is the best in the series. It's actually challenging - which is more than can be said for the newer versions.

Not going to get it. I still have it on my SNES and play it sometimes. So no need to download it from VC.

I remember battle mode being really awesome on this, but I often confuse this one and 64. It was quite a long time ago, and my friends and I playing it weren't always entirely, uh, present while playing.
Good times with any mario Karts. Pilotwings is great; oddly relaxing in fact, but the 64 sequel is arguably better, why not just give us that one?

Have Mario Kart in my SNES right now. BEST of the series, especially battle mode. Battle mode on the SNES takes true skill. Actually, the game requires more skill than all of the other games because it isn't so "Power-up item" oriented.

This is the only one I don't have so I can finally complete my Mario Kart collection.

I've unlocked the SNES courses on the GBA Mario Kart and there are a few of them in the Wii and DS ones as well. However, judging from the YouTube videos of the SNES version it is not quite the same thing with some obstacles being cut out on GBA and all.

This title should have been released at the launch of Wii Shop, but better late than never, right? This game is simply awesome, I still own my SNES cart and it brings great memories. Of course it's not as good as the other ones but it's still fantastic!

Now they should release Super Mario All-Stars, that would be instant buy to me, although I guess they won't release this game...
