Posted by Corbie Dillard
The unique WiiWare puzzler is almost here.
We've just learned that Spaceball: Revolution will be coming to the North American WiiWare service on Monday, September 14th for 800 Wii Points.
We were also able to get our hands on a brand new gameplay trailer of the game in action that you can check out below for a taste of what you can expect from this unique WiiWare puzzler.
We'll have a full review of Spaceball: Revolution when it hits the WiiWare service.

Very appealing (and apparently quite varied) visual style. I hope it fares much better than the publisher's last game.

yeah. looks simple, but different and worth a look if they can make it a lasting fun. looks like it may be short, though.

Looks interesting, although I already have a fair amount of puzzle games and didn't expect to buy any more, this one might change my mind.

I downloaded the game this morning and it is a pure madness. Very addictive and funny , yeeeah. The gameplay´s easy but to complete some levels in dificult. Snearker13, if you want a great videogame, you must buy spaceball revolution.

I like the graphics but I don't really understand what's going on. and what's with the awful techno circa 1992?

I like the look of this game a lot. Varied art design, compelling, unique puzzler gameplay, challenging-looking levels... though coming from the same publisher as Yummy Yummy Cooking Jam, I shall remain skeptical until the review of it pops up here. Here's hoping it's every bit as good as the trailer makes it look. I love a good puzzler.

I don't want to give too much away from my unwritten review, but I will say it looks extremely good and it has some good arcade flavour.

At the time of posting this news, the game had already hit WW.

I'd buy it but it looks like garbage. Plus I played something very similar for free on my PC over 10 years ago. No sale.
I like the way NIntendo are being painted into a corner by reducing the cost of the console to the consumer when it's blatantly obvious that it's the software that's the major failure of the system. Oh and the hardware (yes fanboys, the hardware sucks too) Oh, and the interface and the online and their attitude.
What's even funnier is when non-gamers taking a stand saying the time of "hardcore" gamers is over and that casual gamers are the future, when it's there - slapping you right in your face - that they have no real commitment to the system outside of buying what is essentially flavour-of-the-year-ware. The Wii is a sinking ship with nothing more than a one line approach to getting sales:
"Buy my peripheral! Buy my peripheral? Buy my ... oh what's the use. Here take it. Take it. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TAKE IT!"
