Top 20 DSiWare Games in USA (30th July)

Posted by Corbie Dillard

It's Thursday and time for our DSiWare Top 20!

It's time to take a look at the most popular DSiWare titles available on the DSi Shop. If you're feeling adventurous you can even take a look for yourself by simply logging on to the DSi Shop, heading into the DSiWare section and then viewing by "Popular Games". It's that easy!

We compile this list using the USA region DSi Shop, so if you live elsewhere your list will probably be quite a bit different. Please feel free to post your region's findings below as always.

Keep in mind that the list below is based on the total number of downloads made recently, not an overall total of downloads since the game's original release.

Here is the list for the 30th of July:

1 (1) - Nintendo DSi Browser
2 (2) - Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again
3 (3) - Asphalt 4: Elite Racing
4 (4) - Paper Airplane Chase
5 (5) - Bird & Beans
6 (6) - WarioWare: Snapped!
7 (7) - Dr. Mario Express
8 (8) - Master of Illusion Express: Deep Psyche
9 (9) - Mario Clock
10 (13) - Brain Challenge
11 (10) - Mario Calculator
12 (12) - Photo Clock
13 (-) - Art Style: ZENGAGE
14 (11) - Art Style: BOXLIFE
15 (15) - American Popstar: Road to Celebrity
16 (14) - Sudoku Master
17 (17) - Master of Illusion Express: Funny Face
18 (19) - Real Soccer 2009
19 (18) - Clubhouse Games Express: Card Classics
20 (16) - Art Style: BASE 10

* (N) - Denotes a brand new entry in the Top 20
* (-) - Denotes a game that was not on the Top 20 last week

The top nine games remain unchanged this week, in fact there wasn't a lot of movement in the entire Top 20 to be honest. This week did mark the debut of Art Style: ZENGAGE.

The big climber this week was Art Style: ZENGAGE, which jumped from off the chart completely, all the way up to #13. The big dropper this week was Art Style: BASE 10, which fell four spots to #20. It's funny how these Art Style titles come on strong, but tend to fade fast.

The debut of Art Style: ZENGAGE meant that one title had to slip out of the Top 20 and that title just happened to be Master of Illusion Express: Shuffle Games. We were hoping Mighty Flip Champs might pop back up on the Top 20 this week, but it didn't work out that way.

Sad face for Pictobits and MFC not being on there. If you haven't downloaded either of those, you're missing out..

I'm glad Mater of Illusion is gone but still surprised at the appeal of the Nintendo DSi Browser. I'm only rooting on Flipnote Studio to break its long-run at #1 and really, I thought Mighty Flip Champs! would come back this week....

How can u be suprised at the appeal of the DSi browser, ITS FREE. Im pretty sure almost everyone who has gone to that store and saw that it was free downloaded it. Just wait for Flipnote to come and take the throne, (or maybe 2nd place).
