Play on the day to win a family beach holiday of a lifetime

To celebrate the launch of the biggest game this year, Wii Sports Resort, Nintendo is recreating a tropical party island for all the family at four easily accessible locations across the UK & Ireland.

Everyone will be treated to a ‘Wii Sports Resort Beach Party’, complete with fantastic giveaways, beach party tunes plus the opportunity to play the best game to hit our shores - Wii Sports Resort!

Party goers will not only get an exclusive hands on play of the game but will also be in with the chance to win an amazing luxury water sports and beach holiday in Halkidiki, Greece.

Whilst enjoying the thrilling in-game sports including wakeboarding, table tennis, canoeing, archery, sword play, extreme Frisbee, basketball, sky diving, power-cruising, cycling, bowling and golf, players will be able to enjoy the immersive experience of new Wii MotionPlus which plugs into the existing Wii Remote and gives an even more realistic gaming experience. With every movement of the wrist or arm shown identically in real time on the screen, Wii Sports Resort is set to deliver an exciting summer of fun for everyone to enjoy.

So whether you’re an adrenaline fuelled thrill seeker, you’ve got a competitive streak, or you prefer tests of skill and precision this brand new game has it all!

Dublin's not in the UK guys...

On a slightly more related note, Resort seems to have a lot more to offer in the way of sports than the original - which I still find fun now and then.
I'd be tempted to check out one of the competitions but none are near me :(.

I'll also be buying it on Friday, but I may pop down to Oxford Street to see what this competition is about. I do love a good competition!

@Rum Rapture, there's one in Glasgow, but NL have failed to recognise this.

Anyways, who's going to Leeds? I might see you there, if so!

I love the games, and they oly take a little while to get the hang of, the frisbee with your dog catching it is fun, and my daughter loves the sword fighting one, but I hate how you can win by throwing off your opponent by blocking all the time.

Great games though.
