Time to play!

We got a really good in-depth look at the upcoming Wii Sports Resort today during Nintendo's Press Conference and we were also fortunate enough to get our hands on the official E3 trailer and press release as well.

We saw how intricate the movements of the Wii Motion Plus are inside the game during the Archery mode demonstration. It's clear that this new technology should provide a much more authentic sports gaming experience this go round.

Below is a snippet from the official press release that came with the trailer that you can check out for a bit more insight into the actual game and how it will play.

Wii Sports Resort is an immersive, expansive active-play game that includes a dozen fun resort-themed activities. It maintains the wide-ranging appeal that attracted millions to the original Wii Sports. Wii Sports Resort is easy to pick up and play, but comes coupled with deeper levels of play that are sure to challenge even the most experienced gamers. Wii Sports Resort whisksplayers away to a resort that’s full of action, while introducing an unprecedented experience inphysical reality. We'll be uploading a batch of brand new screenshots for the game later this evening that will show up on the Wii Sports Resort game page. Until then you can check out the press release and E3 Trailer below.

As usual, we'll have more information on Wii Sports Resort as it becomes available, as well as a full review when the game is released.
