Fresh Mario Kart Wii Details Emerge

UK site Eurogamer has recently picked up on some more Mario Kart Wii details, thanks to US magazine Nintendo Power.

We already know that the game will feature online play for up to 12 participants, but the big news here is that some kind of stunt system will also be included to spice up proceedings. Performing tricks during the race should also result in some kind of reward - although we don't know the full details of the system yet, we're guessing some kind of speed boost (as seen in the SNES classic Unirally) is likely.

Could this crazy fusion of Tony Hawks and Mario Kart actually work? We certainly hope so. This is shaping up to be yet another ‘must have’ Wii title, and we can only hope that Nintendo make up for the mild disappointment that was Double Dash on the Gamecube.
