Who You Gonna Call?

Ghostbusters! Vivendi Games set to release a brand new game based on the movies, voice talent from the original cast to be included.

As reported by Variety, all four of the movie's main cast members - Dan Akroyd, Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray and Harold Ramis - have agreed to allow their likenesses to appear in the game and will supply voice-overs. Other cast members getting involved include William Atherton (Walter Peck) and Annie Potts (Janine Melnitz). What no Moranis?

Ramis and Akroyd are writing the storyline for the game. It will be set in the early '90s following the events of Ghostbusters II, and will see our heroes tackling a new invasion of spooks in New York City.

Anyone that's really keen will of noticed we sneaked this game onto the site yesterday, there's a handful of very early screenshots that were unlabled, so we'd think they might actually be 360 ones.

There's also the small matter of a very short teaser trailer:

Hm, movie tie-in. I'd love this to be great, but I am going to remain dubious about it...
