The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker closed with Link and Tetra setting sail for waters unknown ... but their story was just beginning, and it continues on the Nintendo DS. When a mysterious fog waylays their band of pirates and leaves Link alone on an unfamiliar island, a new adventure begins.

The big N also threw a launch party at the infamous Nintendo World Store, New York to celebrate Link's awakening on the DS console.

Video game lovers of all ages lined up for an early look at the latest Zelda game and a chance to win exciting prizes. Fans had their picture taken with the game’s hero, Link; dressed as their favorite Zelda characters for a costume contest; showed off their Zelda knowledge in trivia quizzes; and were among the first to play Phantom Hourglass in a live multi-player tournament.

How did we celebrate? Well, we made yet another kickass wallpaper for you to enjoy. We'll be getting our copy of the game today and that means you should expect a full review in the next couple of weeks.
