GameSpot reports retailers hinting to a price drop in the Gamecube.

GameSpot reports that gaming retailers have received promotional materials that suggest that Nintendo is lowering the price of their Gamecube. A specific price has not been revealed, but the promotional materials all carried Gamecube stickers that read "New Low Price" on them. The Gamecube is selling for $99.99 as of right now. I'm guessing Nintendo is lowering the price of the Gamecube because of the recent PS2 price drop from $149.99 to $129.99.
