The collection of Nintendo fans gathered yesterday at the Bellevue Square McDonald's in Bellevue, Washington, USA. This time the American junk food addicts weren't waiting for a 2 for 1 offer but infact for Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo's Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing. After several Big Mac's in the back Reggie came through the doors and embraced his super star persona and entered the crowds.

Reggie mingled with the fans, he no doubt took down some names, kicked alittle ass. In the background the devote Mario Kart fans battled it out in a good old fashioned tournament to see who would compete against the main man in a multiplayer race. Apparently it took a good hour to whittle it down to the best handful of players.

Even being eliminated from the tournament, Nintendo fan Ryan Walters didn't seem to mind. "I didn't come here to win. I came here for Reggie." We like Ryan, he knows what Reggie is all about.

Regginator entered the tournament at the end, much like Liverpool in the Club Cup. The final race took place on the Shroom Ridge course. Much like Liverpool, Reggie just couldn't cut it against his opponents, his skills weren't sharp enough to come out on top. Chris from Marysville, WA, was crowned Reggie basher when he finished in first place. Chris and the top three runners-up each won autographed Nintendo DS systems.

We'd like to take this time to ask Reggie to come over to England and take on our members in a Mario Kart battle. However can we meet somewhere with a few less cheese burgers? Kthx.
