Contra: Rogue Corps sets itself some seven years after the cataclysmic events of 1992’s Contra III: The Alien Wars, one of the very best entries in the franchise. It’s certainly a bold move to tie yourself so directly to such a beloved game; a sign of supreme confidence, you might think. Well, if it was confidence, it was sorely misplaced, because Contra: Rogue Corps is a missed opportunity and a mess. It’s bloated with unnecessary modes, has cumbersome combat, characters who spout terrible, cheesy dialogue (the city where the game is set is described as being like something that was “shot out of Lucifer’s asshole”) and, on Switch, it's a blurred and muddy muddle of low resolution textures and pixelated edges on every surface.
The decision to make this new Contra a twin-stick shooter, whilst not necessarily what any fan would have wanted, could have been one that paid off. With its constantly shifting camera perspectives and tight little arenas that cordon you off and fire tons of enemies in your direction, there’s definitely the basis of something that could have been decent here. However, a combination of imprecise controls, boring level objectives and enemies that are thrown at you haphazardly see to it that the whole thing just never gets off the ground; it never finds that magic, addictive flow that the best in the genre possess in spades.
Aiming in a hectic twin-stick shooter needs to be refined and accurate, but the controls here just aren’t slick enough. Time after time you’ll find yourself struggling to hit the exact enemy, exploding barrel or vehicle you were aiming for. There are also platforming elements in every level that feel supremely awkward, getting you into all sorts of bother as you try (and fail) to reach some catwalk or other to deal with a grenade-lobbing mutant. It’s these very basic building blocks that aren’t up to task, ensuring that this is an experience that’s going to struggle to hold your attention for very long.
Missions play out, by and large, in very similar fashion and feature dull objectives. “Reach the end”, “find your target” or “destroy the enemy spawn points” – just incredibly bland stuff that makes no effort to get you involved in what’s going on. There are boss battles that vary between being too easy or just plain awkward, and the game randomly shifts to a behind-the-shoulder aiming mode that’s clumsy, inaccurate and an example of a developer throwing everything at their game instead of concentrating on making any of it in any way refined. Granted, the original Contra used a similar perspective-shifting tactic, but its application way back in the ‘80s was more convincing and assured than what’s attempted here.
All of this stuff is then compounded by the fact that the Switch port is right up there with the most blurred and pixelated games we’ve encountered on the console; we’re talking SolSeraph-levels of eye strain. It looks much worse docked as the portable screen hides a multitude of sins, but in both modes it’s a pain to watch what’s unfolding on-screen. There’s also the small matter of campaign missions, which can run for a good 20 to 30 minutes, that are set against a timer and cannot be paused. Once you start a mission, you’re locked into completing it unless you choose to completely quit out – a crazy situation that doesn’t lend itself favourably to the portable nature of Switch.
In terms of positives, there are plenty of ways to play through Contra: Rogue Corps, with online co-op available for the full campaign and exploration missions. There’s a couch co-op mode that unlocks once you hit rank 2, although it only really consists of more exploration missions and a 4-on-4 PvP mode, which we unfortunately couldn’t get into a single game of at the time of writing.
There’s also an almost overwhelmingly deep upgrade and customisation system which is undoubtedly the strongest point of the entire package – which, let's face it, isn't exactly ideal when people just want to get on with shooting stuff. You’ll hoover up a ton of spare parts and materials during your sorties which can be used back at base camp to upgrade different aspects of your preferred weapons, and each gun comes with several slots to adjust firepower, cooling time and so on. You can buy new weapons and even have surgery to implant improvements into your chosen character’s body – gifting you better movement speed, defence or attack power, for example. If all of this had been tied to a genuinely good twin-stick shooter, Konami and Toylogic could have been onto a real winner, but it isn't.
Speaking of characters, the four on offer here. Kaiser, Hungry Beast, Ms Harakiri and Gentleman are all nicely enough designed, but there just isn’t enough difference between their tactics on the ground to make it important which one you choose to main, beyond their aesthetics. They all have two weapons, an overcharge firing mode, special attack and a dodge that makes them temporarily invulnerable as they slice through enemies or avoid incoming fire, and it’s a shame there isn’t as much variety in how they play as there is in how they look. I mean, one of them is a panda, for crying out loud; surely that could have been leveraged into some kind of unique gameplay element?
There are occasions when things do come together in very short bursts, and mixing up your special moves, dodge and guns can be pretty fun here and there, but another decision – one that will be divisive and that we really feel ruins the flow of combat – is that your guns overheat, and they overheat quickly. This is perhaps meant to add a layer of strategy to proceedings, but it’s at the cost of constantly watching your weapon’s meter instead of concentrating on blasting the hell out of alien invaders. It just feels like one more thing bolted on in a haphazard way, leading to a game that’s clunky at the same time as being almost impossibly ugly on Nintendo's console.
Conclusion
Contra: Rogue Corps has some good ideas. The twin-stick action could have worked if it hadn’t been so fussy and inaccurate, the choice of characters could have been great if they’d had a bit more variety and the deep customisation and online game modes could have added longevity if they hadn't been attached to such a drab and messy-looking game. In the end, nothing about this endeavour feels in any way related to the Contra games you know and love, and you’d do much better to grab the Contra Anniversary Collection at a much lower price – or try out one of the many excellent retro twin-stick shooters or side-scrolling action games already available on the platform.

Well that’s a shame.
Shame this didn’t turn out better.
Haha, I was playing the demo and can't agree enough.
When I first watched the trailer I didn't think it would be good but I didn't expect it to be this bad. Just another game Konami has butchered.
The weapons overheating complaint in the review is analogous to the weapons breaking in Zelda - just so infuriatingly pointless!
What a shame, I was super hyped when this was announced. Now im glad September was so packed i didn't want to give it a shot over other stuff that was coming out.
@Yoshinator i expected it to be even worse tbh
All Konami had to do was give me a physical port of Hard Corps Uprising and that would have been enough for me for years.
Disappointing, but not entirely unexpected. Was this that Contra game that was teased back in 2011? If so, maybe development troubles could be a part of why this game turned out badly.
[shocked, stunned] well, we can all look forward to Contra pachinko now.
Called it yesterday. Woot!
After playing the demo, I couldn't agree more.
Still a 4 is too generous for something that plays like a PS2 throwaway at a snail's pace.
(Meanwhile, PJ continues to give boob games a 3 because titties bad.)
The demo really needed a second level to sell me. I was on the fence. It doesn't deserve the Contra name, but there's potential for dual stick shooter fans. Then the demo ended and since I was on the fence I said nope.
Without the Contra name I would have never played the demo. The $40 pricetag doesn't help.
The demo bored me within 30 seconds. So this score is not surprising
I believe this was a mobile game project converted to consoles around the time blazing chrome came out. Should have stayed mobile for 5 bucks.
That said, I would get it on the switch after a 90% price drop.
It's okay, people! They'll fix it with patches!!!
And to think that these clowns have the gall to withhold content as DLC as well. Tsk, tsk, tsk.
Give us remakes of Shattered Soldier or another game in that style or something other than this game. Contra is best when it is 2d.
I think the Anniversary Collection releasing slightly takes the sting out of this release. I didn’t expect it to be as good as the classic games, but it takes a certain level of incompetence to make a twin stick shooter this bad, especially for a developer this big.
Between this and that Castlevania mobile game, Konami really are on a consistently embarrassing streak.
Added: But the bright side is that this will make for a really entertaining Jimpressions 🐸
@Dakotastomp The titty game was worse than this, got scored accordingly. Boobs are fine.
The fact that they thought a demo of this game was advisable shows they haven't a clue.
Looks and plays like a bad early PS2 Game.
The delayed controls absolutely killed this Game for me.
Back to Contra Anniversary Collection and Contra 4.
I think, despite everything said about this game, the one aspect that kills it for me is that you can't even pause the game??
The demo seemed all right, though it was blurry and hard to tell what was going on. There was also a lot of unneccessary foul language that just seemed very forced.
@Kulhy And that's okay. People like what they like, whether they're considered bad by the masses or not.
Enjoy it
7 years of development everybody...
Man, if NBA 2020 could get a nine, this must be REALLY bad.
Ugh. Looking at those screenshots, and gameplay videos, this game honestly looks like a very late 90’s PC game. I knew this wasn’t going to be good, but I didn’t think it would be the worst thing ever. Well, i’ll stick with the anniversary collection.
Farming for materials and upgrades in a Contra game? Wow, terrible.
From the first footage you could tell this game was going to be total trash.
This is a surprise to nobody I'm sure. The game has never looked anything but awful.
Pretty expected
All 3d Contra have always been like this
Konami seems to forget what people like Contra games for
Simply put this is the worst game I've played in a decade and yes I've played the full version (a friend who bought it). It has no redeeming features, it looks horrible (even on the X where I played it), the gameplay is tedious, the overheating is just stupid, a lot of the weapons are rubbish, it has enemies that don't even bother to fight you if you're stood on a crate or even right behind them. Just garbage and its lucky to get a 4
It's such a shame that many classic franchises like this one are owned by a company that no longer cares about games and isn't even trying to pretend like they do.
In other news, physical copies of Blazing Chrome are up for preorder as from Friday. Think I’ll use my money there.
It is a shame, but also no surprise. It is an expected shame.
This is exactly why the contra series has been dead for so long. They haven't put out a good one since Contra 4 on DS. They were even bragging on the reveal about how they got the guy who was involved with Contra 3 to help produce this turd. I guess he's lost his touch.
Well i suppose that's it. So much for the revival.
I will stick with the Contra collection for just 20 dollars on switch.
Let’s hope Probotector is better!
its time for konami to disappear and sell their ips to someone who would treat them with care.
Looking at the preview vids made this score a foregone conclusion. The game was trash from the jump. This game is not Contra. I don't know what it is. Hopefully this is the last we'll ever hear of it.
@Bondi_Surfer I get the whole 'realism' argument for those sorts of mechanics, but there comes a certain point where you have to say, 'this is stopping the game from being fun, we should probably drop this'. Dunno why but Far Cry 2's weapon rusting mechanic is one of the examples that jump out in my mind.
So many of konami's best Ips are dead now. Contra, silent hill, Metal gear. Ugh! It breaks the heart. Even Capcom is looking better these days and they've made some pretty awful mistakes too.
Played the demo. Wasn't impressed. Such a let down. What we really need is a SMASH TV remake.
Is the review’s subtitle linking this game to PS2’s Shattered Soldier? That’s really a disservice as Shattered Soldier was pretty great, unlike this one. I’ll never forget this one boss that was a giant worm, swimming in a vat of raw meat, and belching noxious gas. It was awesome!
Disappointed Konami hasn’t been able to move the franchise forward since. The retro releases have been the only good ones.
Heard this looked terrible on all platforms so at least it's not just switch this time lol.
@PJOReilly Then why did it read like you were so shocked and disgusted with what was basically front and center a nonsensical lust story? Also, I think the way you wrote it feels like you were trying to put down those who like better "titty games" at all. Really rubs fans of that genre the wrong way.
The playable panda character should've tipped us off. This was an accident waiting to happen.
@Nagi You're right. Contra 4 is an absolute masterpiece and maybe the best Contra game ever made.
Yes had this on my watch list, played the demo and deleted from watch list
R.I.P. CONTRA
(here's a couple of useless extra words to be able to post my meaningful message)
@PJOReilly Rude. I thought reviewers were suppose to take criticism, not insult others opinions.
That's a shame, I thought they wouldvedone better things with this game. Like cancelling it
@PJOReilly well to be honest, the review for that gun pixies tiddy game was kinda badly reviewed, I'm not upset about the score or anything, the game itself sucked, but just the way it was worded just seemed like a guy being a smart ass the entire time, even the cons were written this way. I'm just saying the review could've been better written. Unless you guys were talking about a diffrent anime game in which case, this is awkward
Why does a hi-octane no-nonsense arcade shooter has a main weapon with an overheat mechanic?!
Might as well put this game along side with Contra: Legacy of War and C:The Contra Adventure in a garbage dumpster.
Ah Well. Here's hoping a Castlevania Collection ll. with all the metroidvania games fixes the bad taste this game left in our mouths
@RetroGamerAndrew
Contra has been mostly dead since the 16-bit days... So it's more like it failed at being resurected than being dead. It's been dead for quite some time already. I think there was one game half-decent during the PS3 years (or was it PS2?) and one on the DS that was cool too.... but that's pretty much it....
Anyone looking for a proper Contra-style game to play should go for Blazing Chrome. It's available on the Nintendo eshop, and from the little bit I've played, it's fantastic.
The fact that they cut the frame rate in half, to 30fps, is idiotic. Why would they think people would want to play a choppy Contra after playing smooth 60fps ones for decades (yes there has been some slowdown, but that's nothing compared to running choppy constantly!).
Were people really asking for a new 3D Contra?
I feel like outsourcing a new 2D contra to a smaller studio could've been produced far cheaper with a much larger return on investment.
@Doofenshmirtz It's that game alright. It looks low budget and cliche as all hell, but if people like that content, I say let them.
@PJOReilly I brought it up because you did write the review like an uptight prude who thinks he's better than people who support these types of games and should learn from your mistakes. So it's rude to come into a review you posted and remind people "Hey, this guy was acting like a smart ass to people who play hentai games in general." But it's not rude to make a snidey review that also bashes people who like that sort of game? Hypocrisy at its finest. I don't play the game, and I can agree it looks low-budget and stiff, but I wouldn't use the game as an excuse to say "It's hard to imagine people actually play these sorts of games." I don't care if you didn't like it, don't be a smart ass about it.
There are indie games that plays much better than this turd. Oh how the mighty has fallen, first Metal Gear Survive and now Contra: Rogue Corps. Better go back to your root Konami or else you're losing fans of your IPs.
I had a bad feeling about this one from the very first reveal trailer. You can slap a name brand on anything (take Disney's Star Wars films, for example), but that doesn't give it the heart and soul of what made that brand great to begin with. Way too often creative teams, producers, writers, etc. get involved in such a project who frankly have no clue about a franchise or what the fans expect from it; they just figure that brand label will be good for X amount of sales, and that's enough for them.
This game is a disaster, I mean who really wanted this?
@Dakotastomp I've bought Gun Gun Pixies, put 10 hours into it....and I can confirm it's as rubbish as PJ says it is. Granted I think his review was a little harsh towards fans of that kind of thing but it just isn't that great to play...looks bad, camera is awful, framerate issues, some horrendous glitches, very clunky controls and noticeable lag when jumping...I'm sticking with it because I find the cultural stuff and storyline hilarious but there are much, much better fanservice-y games out there. The likes of Senran Kagura Peach Ball is a very solid and playable pinball game underneath the presentation at least.
Honestly, if it was like $10 I'd be a lot more accepting of the level of quality.
I thanked the developers for providing me this awful demo, otherwise I would have bought it.
Seriously Konami, after this and Metal Gear Survive.....STOP. The overhead Contras have been lackluster to begin with, there was never a demand for this.
The demo felt like a crappy mobile game.
Tried the demo, I had some fun with it
I saw this coming
6 years on a Harddrive. One year porting it.
@BarefootBowser Kinda like they did with Contra Force back in the NES days...
Lol still a fun game.but at the same time i could careless about reviews or other people's opinions.
@TromaDogg Thank you! I can accept that it's rubish compared to SK and others, but he just didn't need to make the review sound so negative to the fanbase who like fanservice. That's all. To be fair, he's definitely right about how cruddy Rouge Corps is. I would honestly mark this one down as abysmal. I have the nes contra to satisfy my needs anyways.
@Dakotastomp Thank you! For pointing out the obvious.
I've seen some downgraded switch ports but the graphics look really poor on this. Like a PC game set to absolute minimum resolution and graphics settings.
@PJOReilly You still insulting patrons?
@PJOReilly >Hahaha he made a spelling mistake! What an Asshole!
Guess not everyone can be as "perfect" as lil' old you, huh?
>Wow, you're really angry about a titty game.
More disappointed in how you wrote your review to be as snarky as possible instead of just fousing mainly on whether or not the game is any fun or not. Maybe it's not your cup of tea, but if you're gonna write a review for more hentai/anime games in the future, try having some empathy for those that actually like that stuff.
You can easily ignore me instead of bringing this s---- back up, as I can't ignore you sadly.
And by the way you review lewd material, I'm sure you would consider a massage 2lewd4me. Have a nice life.
As expected. The reveal trailer was garbage and the demo even worse.
Well, the one good thing about this situation is that I have never played any of the old Contra games. I have that to get my Contra fix if need be.
@spirit_flame That it's rubbish or that he could have worded his review a little less harsh?
Nice review and all, but I have one question: Is the game a misogynist?
@Dakotastomp Harshness
Such a bummer... The world needs a good Contra game...
@spirit_flame Yeah. Really want to be done with this topic tho. Sorry I ruined a Contra thread over this debate.
Just one big TURD!!! It breaks my heart to think how amazing a new Contra could be. If Konami gave a monkeys about this classic franchise.
Whelp, Blazing Chrome it is then! I could like this game as is, real talk, and will probably GameFly it still, but "true Contra" it is not, as I discovered from the demo. I'm just so confused by the dev's words; I REALLY don't think he really understood what made Contra. If they wanted to make this 3D that bad, then it should've been way better. I just worry that we may never see a new 2D entry. Wayforward, can you have a talk with Konami, please?
@NotTelevision it did indeed 😂
Oh come on. I got it today on Xbox One X. It seemed almost impossible, many retailers didn't get it. But my favorite Gamestop got 1 copy on Xbox One. I like it. Of course it's not like the old Contras, but still, this game has something I like about it. I will play this in coop with a friend. And on Xbox One X, it looks better. Played the Switch Demo in docked and portable, very blurry and not sharp. On Xbox One X, it runs in HDR is by far sharper. Still, of course, the graphics are not a master piece
@Ralizah I second this. I hope everyone who had any interest in this now goes and buys Blazing Chrome to support a top team who understands what Contra really is
@Nintendo4Sonic I've played it on X and its ugly on that too and it actually has some similarities to that rubbish Legacy of War on PS1.
I've had fun with some crap games before so hopefully you'll get enjoyment out of it, not one I could squeeze any fun out of though
I didn't say, the graphics are brilliant. I'm just saying, it looks way better in sharpness and the textures look better
But the compare to Contra on PS1 is stupid, play this today. Rogue Corps is maybe an early X 360 game
@MeloMan Blazing Chrome is LIT.
Day 1 DLC. That's what stops me, not the game.
I played the demo in handheld mode and YUCK! I was still hoping for the best but expected the worst.
Played the demo and was genuinely shocked at how horrible it was in every way.
As a small nitpick, is calling this a "twin stick shooter" really accurate? Twin stick shooters typically refer to games where one stick is used to move, one used to shoot (e.g. Robotron, SmashTV, etc.). That's not what this game does — it's one stick to move, one stick to aim independently, and then the trigger button is used to shoot (not unlike the general control scheme for an FPS). You could conceivably not use the "aim-stick" at all and just shoot the direction you're moving.
I mean, i guess it's not wrong per se to call it a twin stick shooter, but it's not entirely accurate either.
Of course, i constantly see reviews on this site refer to 1 on 1 fighting games as "brawlers" which isn't accurate either, so ...
shrug
That's gunna earn a yikes from me, dawg.
Yep, just as I expected. So sad to see them get this sooo wrong. I mean, just look at Blazing Chrome to see where they should have started when making a modern Contra game--if it's supposed to be done right. And, let me be clear, as good as Blazing Chrome is, I think a modern Contra game done right could have been EVEN BETTER THAN THAT in sooo many ways.
Well, at least I have the Contra collection to get some real Contra action on Switch.
Just like I thought but definitively not what I wanted it to be
Rather than all out cancel the trainwreak, they kept it going in hope to make development costs back, with the train carriages on fire and missing a few wheels....
shoutout to the ever collected PJ running his mouth in the comments and deleting everything once he realizes he looks a bit silly
id be very curious to see who the developers feel the target demographic for this game is because i cant imagine any informed person buying this game unironically
Played the demo and was really turned off by the language. Felt out of place for a Contra game.
The overheating is intended to keep you from holding down the fire button during the entire run like alot of people do. it's easy to avoid, all it takes is the occasional glance at the gauge and laying off the trigger for a second.
@Ralizah Agreed! Blazing Chrome is AMAZING! Shows what happens when you have game developers passionate about the game and the franchise. Blazing Chrome is the Contra game Contra Rogue Corps should have been.
This has to be a game that has been on the shelf for some years and decided that it would only sell with the Contra name on it. None of the enemies look like they came from Contra. It’s like what they did for Mario Bros 2 back in the day.
I found the demo ok and will get this game in time. Probably when it's 90% off.
Dammed and I bought for the goodies and #10 cert. from BestBuy.
Hmm i found some enjoyment from the demo......on PS4. I tried the Switch demo too, both docked and portable, and it looks appalling in both modes but on PS4 it looks slightly better, still looks like a PS2 era game but i kinda like that personally, i will get it on the PS4 when its on sale at some point, which probably won't take too long lol
If people are looking for Twin Stick shooter games to play that don't look this ugly and this crappy than instead play "Furi" or "Enter the Gungeon"
Finally a NL game review most people can agree on. But a 4/10? Seriously? It seemed much worse than that.
Konami need to announce a true 2D sprite based sequel and pass programming and design duties onto Treasure.
I bet 80% here didn't even play the demo. But believing what most people say, is easier than making a personal opinion.
https://youtu.be/btDYNEV7pzg
Have a look at this. He is describing it pretty well
@Corbs Oh wow, I haven't seen your name pop up since the DS days. How ya been, mate?
Well, at least it doesn't disappoint. Since no one expected it to be good in the first place.
@Nintendo4Sonic You can also read a review and make up your own mind about your own damn time. It's very obvious from any gameplay video and description that this game has zero to do with actual Contra and and looks hideous. I'm not gonna waste my time on the demo because I can be playing something else. Everyone's time and priorities are different and if your game fails to captivate people through it's gameplay and images than even a demo won't save it. That's the fault of the developers and the marketing. It's not just that we are the sheeple and you are the "ol wise one". I've been reading from many people who have tried that demo that it's the reason they aren't buying it either so I can rest assured that folks are generally right about this.
This reviewer evidently never liked the overhead view contras. This is just like them but at more of a 45% angle. The dual control is something that isn't hard to get use to and it provides a more of a challenge. Other than that yes this game could have been better but it isn't a $60 dollar game and depending on how much of a fan you are is worth buying. If your not a huge contra fan I would suggest waiting for a sell but for any contra fan it is a must play.
@Kirby_Girl those people probably never played most contras. They give the same views and control options. Adding the dual control actually gives you more of a better aim here. As for the graphics being ugly they were meant to look that way for one and two if that's what you want is good graphics then you will not be playing most games made.
This is actually a decent game for the price period. If your not a fan of contra then you will of course have your dislikes. In the end your right real gamers will play it while the others will whine about it.
@Dirty0814 The game is stylistically hideous. I don't care that it's going for it. Even ignoring the art style, the textures and repeated use of it's assets make it look bad and cheap LOL. It's an UGLY game with UNANIMOUS consensus that it's a crappy twin stick shooter. Several people who reviewed it gave it some pass for trying it's own thing and still stated it failed on that front. Especially when you're on an online store that sports INCREDIBLE twin sticks like Enter the Gungeon and Furi. Looking worse and playing worse than what's out there ain't going to get people to drop their cash.
If I have to play this garbage to be a "real gamer" than I don't want the useless title. I rather be a discerning gamer than a "real gamer" in that case LOL.
@AtlanteanMan And if the game doesn't sell, that might be the end of Contra, at least for a very long time. A real shame...
I've been playing this game a while, mostly ripping through it and destroying it with ease. I keep coming back to this review, and the quality of the visuals all boils down to ones perspective. The game is not as bad as this review says. I know its an opinion but its a blazingly biased one.
He claims; "Aiming in a hectic twin-stick shooter needs to be refined and accurate, but the controls here just aren’t slick enough. It’s these very basic building blocks that aren’t up to task, ensuring that this is an experience that’s going to struggle to hold your attention for very long."
Fail? YOU Fail, because you obviously suck at the game and your frustration shows throughout the "review". You're used to games that hold your hand. I'm nearly done with the game and literally had none of these problems. You just can't aim nor have any depth perception I guess.
People comparing this to Enter The Gungeon. Enter The Gungeon is ok, ill give it that. But incredible? lol. You haven't played many twin stick shooters. Gungeon is mostly flash, Trendy "Difficult for difficultys sake" with 90% Gimmick Guns and the absence of TRUE co-op on Gungeon is pure laziness on Devolvers part. Note that i'm not comparing the two, they're two different types of Twin stick shooters.
Contra Rogue Corps was made for people who like classic arcade style twin stick shooters, which do not hold your hand like the classic Neo Contra and Expendable which came out before most of you were born. I'm not saying its the best game ever. But it's not as bad as bandwagon riders make it out to be. There's alot more to it, and has more effort put into it than people claim.
Almost done with the game. It's definitely received more hate than it should have. It's not a great game, but aside from the graphics it's not truly bad in any way. The target audience is someone who just wants something to pick up and play for a half hour without much thought involved. Sit down, put on some music, and just play for a few minutes. It's repetitive and needs some polish, but it's not a 4/10. I'd say it's a 5-5.5 overall, and fine for someone who just wants a quick distraction.
It`s on sale - 95 % on eshop till 30.11.2021 !!!
