All the gameplay flaws are present (see our review of Transformers: Autobots for the full details) the only difference being you are treated with a whole new set of cut-scenes and voice acting to tell the story from the opposite angle.

The most cynical of us would say that releasing two versions of the game is merely just a cash-in on Activision’s side to get the most serious of Transformers fans to buy two games.

They would probably be right.

While we wouldn’t recommend you buy either version of the Transformers DS game we can only suggest that if you do it comes down to personal preference as to which version you choose.
