I have 500 points, and I'm trying to decide between the Magic Obelisk and Kirby's Adventure. I really, really like Zack and Wiki, and I know that the Magic Obelisk is a similar puzzle game. However, part of the fun of Z&W is getting items and figuring out how to use them. I don't think that the Magic Obelisk has items - it's simply a matter of lining up shadows. Is that true?

If I loved Z&W, do you think I'll like the Magic Obelisk?

It's hard to say if you'll like TMO based on that reasoning. No, there aren't items to gather, but sometimes you do need to use elements within the stage to advance. It's a great game!

You could play the LIT demo on WiiWare to get some idea what you're in for--LIT is similar to the Magic Obelisk (although LIT does have items so they're not exactly the same). If you think LIT puzzles are boring, you probably won't enjoy Magic Obelisk either.

I forgot about LIT. I actually did try the demo when it first came out. It was good, but I didn't feel compelled to buy the full game, at least not right away. Thanks for the advice!

Magic Oblisk, Monstica, liight, or Viral Survival? Any suggestions and why?

I heard MO has some sort of story (which I like in a game) and VS has Online. Heard Liight was good (as well as Monstica).
I've only got 500 pts right now.

Only played the first three. Magic Obelisk gets my highest recommendation. It's a special game to me.
Monsteca is great too. There's more to it than meets the eye.
Liight is also great for different reasons.

You can't go wrong with any of those. :)

Thanks. I played the demo on monstica and it seemed decent. Just wasn't sure if I wanted to try it now, as I only have enough for one game at the moment.

Do many people still play that online pool game or the chess game?

I was just looking at Magical Destiny. Can you save on the games in it (Leaderboard or just highscore.) or do you lose the scores after you quite??

The Bit Trip Runner demo really leaves you wanting more can't wait to get some points and get the full version.

Got 700 Points and looking for a WiiWare title (prerably 500 so I can grab 1000 points in about a month or so and bring me up to 1200), so...Any recommendations?

P.S. Narrow it down t something Score-related or with lots of replay value, I'd prefer something like that to keep me busy over the SUMMERTIME!

Flowerworks - Pretty long and very polished game, well-designed and extremely score-based.
Will keep you occupied for some time. Arcadey puzzle game with adventure overworld - the perfect theme for summer. 500pts in EU.

Texas Hold'em Tournament - If you're into poker your Mii can get virtually rich in this online version. 500pts.
It's always satisfying to outplay the other online gamers on the tournament table and see yourself climbing the online leaderboards.

I have some other 500points games, but they don't have much replay value, except maybe Monsteca Corral which is odd but pretty good for 500pts.

Maybe you want to check out Tomena Sanner which is very short (but has online leaderboards)

and Chess Challenge! It's just online/offline chess (but with leaderboards).

Happy Hammerin' is a surprisingly fun game, very polished, with online leaderboards.

Then there's the dubstep rhythm racer lilt line which is very short but still worth the experience.

I also have equilibrio. It's a 2D marble racing game for up to 4 players and Balance Board support, 64 stages and lots of achievements to unlock.

Last but not least: UNO (500pts in EU). Again online, with lots of modes and achievements...

The other 500pts games I have are pretty pointless and I don't recommend getting them: Pop Them Drop Them Samegame, My Aquarium, My Zoo, Defend your Castle, Sandy Beach, Pop-Up Pirate!

Flowerworks is awesome. It's worth the $10 price here in NA, so I recommend it even more for someone in EU.

Personally I'd skip lilt line over some of the other games SKTTR mentioned like Happy Hammerin' and UNO if you can get it for 500 Points (online is still active AFAIK).

You may want to consider Groovin' Blocks or Magnetis. Both are fun games. There's also Art Style: light trax, Soccer Bashi, Liight and The Magic Obelisk.
