I haven't played the pool games, so I can't say.
I can say that TV show king 2 and Water Warfare are worth getting, depending on what you're in the mood for. TV show king 2 for parties of people looking for a fun little game, while water warfare is more of a game you play by yourself against other people not in the same room. I personally recommend TV Show King 2 more, simply because there aren't many good games in that genre that are disc based. The Call of Duty games and The Conduit both have better online modes, so I'd recommend those to you instead, just because they're much better in the same genre. As for Texas Hold 'em, don't get it. It's not really worth it.
So I pretty much recommend TV Show King 2 out of the list of games you mentioned. I never felt that Water Warfare and Texas Hold 'em were worth it though (Water Warfare is a good game though, so you can go ahead and buy it if you aren't planning on buying something disc-based.) That would leave you with 1500 points, which gives you quite a few options.

@ Seed. You want something @ 700 points exactly? I think Cocoto Platform Jumper is 700 points and I've heard its a decent platformer.

I saw some footage of these games on Youtube and Im def. getting Tv Show king 2. I think im gonna pass the pool game, seemed kinda boring. Im gonna check Cocoto out, thanks for the tip. I like poker but a lot of people are saying Texas Hold'em sucks so im gonna pass too.

If you're looking for the most bang for your buck, definitely one of the N64 Zelda games.

I've got Tv Show King 2 and I recommend it. Its better to play with friends, thou. The AI characters are kinda "dumb" when they answer questions. Yeah, You can play it online, but I rarely find someone else online to play it.

I keep hearing how hard Mega Man 9 is, and I have an extreme fear of brutal games. Should I get it anyway even though I know I'm gonna get my butt whooped?

You might want to wait for Mega Man 10 (since it has an easy mode) and then get 9 after you beat it. Of course, I haven't played MM9. What I suggested above is exactly what I'm doing.

I'm Thinking about getting Mega Man 10. But I don't if there is anything else that i would like.

Platformers: LostWinds (1000pts), then LostWinds 2: Winter of the Melodias (1000pts). Haven't dl'ed it yet but NyxQuest (1000pts), Max & the Magic Marker (1000pts) and Castlevania ReBirth (1000pts) are supposed to be good platformers too.

RPGs: On WiiWare? Not more than 1000pts? None!
My Life as a King is a gernre mix. A town builiding sim/RPG. That's one I recommend, but it's 1500pts.

Puzzle games: Art Style series (600pts each) I recommend all 3 of em. They're good.

Shooters: hmmm..... better ask someone else. I'm not into the ones that are available (Star Soldier R and Gradius ReBirth). Good Gun&Runs should be Mega Man 9 & 10 and Contra ReBirth.

If you are into adventures then Tales of Monkey Island is great. (5 chapters á 1000pts) and of course Phoenix Wright (3 games á 1000pts).

What about Final Fantasy 8: The after years.

If you have DIY for DS, go for Showcase. Otherwise, get Mega Man 10, and use 200 points in-game to get Bass.
