It's been a while since we've heard of Bonk: Brink of Extinction (last NL article about it was an interview from last October) and I was wondering if anyone has heard about it lately. Has it canceled (I really hope not)? Or are Hudson and Pi Studios just being quiet?
After playing Hudsons Adventure Island revival, I really hope they leave Bonk alone, be great if they could do it justice but if its anything like there Adventure Island title I think its best they just don't bother really.
I agree that it has seemed like an eternity since new Bonk info has been released, but this game is still going to have a 2010 release (as of right now). Just be patient. Good things come to those who wait.

Adventure Island The Beginning was really good though, much better than I expected it to be. I don't have much hope for this new Bonk game, but you never know, it could surprise me like AITB did.
New Adventure Island was awesome, The beginning is honestly one of the worst wiiware games I've played, was just a total let down didn't even really feel like an Adv Island game at all.
Yeah...wow...looks very unimpressive. I was really let down with the Adventure Island game on WiiWare, and this looks just as boring.
Yeah, I don't like what I see either, but to be fair, that was a terrible showcase in the first place. I'd like to see a video of somebody who actually knows what he's doing.
Brink of Extinction indeed. One less Wiiware game to look forward to.
