That's a good question. Chrono Rebirth? Just kidding. Just makin' a reference to your avi. Tiny Toons Rebirth? Lol. DDR Rebirth would please me to no end. I doubt it'll happen though. But it would be a REALLY smart move.
Yeah it would, especially since the last 2 DDR games for Wii have been downright awful. I bought Hottest Party 1, and returned it 15 minutes later because the BG gave me a headache and you can't adjust the scroll speed (I ALWAYS played 1.5X Heavy in the Arcades). I don't know if HP2 fixed that, but I'm still turned off to DDR Wii entirely at this point.
Its not just Rebirth games, its also plus games and enhanced games like 'Bubble Bobble plus' and Mega Man. All these titles are REALLY good. You could easily take a dozen or so classic arcade games and rebirth them or plus them etc. And mabey even add the option of harder modes / extra level packs via DLC.

@ King Elemento - I could mabey see them doing another 2d Metroid game in conjunction with a major metroid wii / DS release. Which could possibly be one of the things announced at E3 this year. After all they did make a Metroid Prime Preview channel that was free last time so whats to stop them making a nice solid Metroid game in the original style and charging a paltry 600 - 800 points for it and link the story to whatever upcoming game they decide to do.

Operation Wolf may not be such a bad idea actually because although it may be difficult to directly port over Lightgun games to the VC it may be much easier to rebuild the games (in the original style) but utilising the wiimotes IR and Motion Control. A new version of Duck Hunt would be a good example of this. And mabey they could take the old style of Operation wolf with all the old graphics and sound but have a new story that is more fitting in todays climate.

The Rainbow Island remake/sequel/thing wasn't too good, it seems. I wouldn't say this is automatically a recipe for success. And while I liked Gradius because it's easier than the originals -- to put it in perspective, I beat this one in less than ten tries, and in many, many more tries I have never gotten past level one in any other one but Life Force, which I got to level two in -- it did have a mixed reception.
As much as I'd like to see Nintendo revisit their classic series, it's not going to happen on WiiWare. They want WW to be for smaller developers and third parties. Nintendo can always release such games on DS though, so there's that.
I'd love to see a new Marble Madness featuring the original levels and about the same amount of new ones with some flashy graphics and updated music.
@chatham: Shame on you for saying HP1 and 2 were awful. You are SORELY mistaken. HP1's license list is gold and it has some good KO's here and there but HP2 is just really good. Nuff said. Series got improved because of it. How could you even claim that HP2 is "awful" when you haven't even played the game?! UGH! Now that really ticks me off, especially for a game I really enjoy and one that deserves more praise. For the record, HP2 made so many improvements. It's really good, especially the awesome KO's!
