First click on this link here to take you to the list of WiiWare games in order of score.
http://wiiware.nintendolife.com/games?sort=rating&order=ASC

Find the first five games you have downloaded from the top of the list working down, for simplicitys sake, just do the first five even if you own games lower down on the list that have recieved the same rating. List the games here and the score they recieved and whether you agree with the score. You don't need to have read the review, this is just going by the score. Then tell us what score you would give the game yourself.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (5/10)
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice For All (5/10)
The ports to the WiiWare were my first entry into the Phoenix Wright series so I'll list them both here. It was cheaper than buying the DS versions and I didn't mind the graphics or that it was a straight port. Plus I don't bother with the motion controls and was happy just using the d-pad and buttons so I had no issues with the controls either and theres no need to aim at the screen. Good story and memorable characters. I wish I hadn't passed on the games earlier. I just kept playing and playing both games continually until I beat them, even throughout the night. Whether its a port or not, any game that can do that to me is an awesome one as far as I am concerned. I did actually end up buying Trials and Tribulations on DS since I just couldn't wait for that game to come out on WiiWare after I had beaten Justice For All a few days after it came out. My only slight problem with the games are that some of the detective scenes outside of the courtroom can drag on for too long, especially if you don't know what the next trigger is to the next part of the story. Its surprising how often it was something simple like not being aware that a character had updated their dialogue list with a new option. But these were minor issues and it was just me not checking everything rather than a problem with the game itself.
My Score: 9/10

LIT (7/10)
I enjoyed this at first. It was a fun unique puzzler. However the precision needed put me off after a while. You can't afford to make a single mistake otherwise you'll die. I did quite like picking up the telephone but having to rush to get there in time just leads to mistakes. Some puzzles can be frustrating too.
My Score: 7/10

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years (7/10)
A great sequel to the SNES original. Sure it would have been nice if the overall package was cheaper but in terms of gameplay and length, I find it a bargain. 800 points for the original download is acceptable and you still get your money's worth for each of the individual chapters. At 300 points each, they are more fun and last longer than many full price WiiWare games. I'd rather spend 3200 points or whatever the total cost is on games I actually enjoy playing rather than have a variety of different crap. Money well spent IMO. I'd have bought this at full price if it were a handheld game anyway so no problem here. And I don't expect WiiWare games to always have great modern graphics, I can be happy playing a retro looking game from the WiiWare just fine. I still haven't beaten the last chapter.
My Score: 9/10

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As a Darklord (8/10)
Yes, an 8/10 game is in my worst five WiiWare games. I don't download that many of them and I can't afford to try a game I'm not sure I would like. I'm not familar with tower defense games so this style of gameplay was new to me. Although its different than My Life as a King, I still quite enjoyed it. I haven't beaten it though, I can't do some of the later levels. I have downloaded some DLC but its not necessary to download all of it. I do think they intentionally increased the difficulty later in the game to make inexperienced gamers resort to downloading more DLC though. I may have to download a little more and have another crack at it. At 1000 points though you do get a game thats well polished and feels like a WiiWare title worth a lot more than that which is why I didn't mind too much about paying extra for DLC. Just don't ever think that because a wide variety of different options available as DLC that you have to download it all.
My Score: 8/10

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

  • PictureBook Games: A Pop-Up Adventure (NL: 2/10)

A board and card strategy/party game for four players made by Nintendo / Grounding. Actually this is quite fun when you play this with four players. It's only 2 boards, and nothing to unlock, so it's pretty casual. 500pts would have been better. It's a decent game.
My Score: 5/10

  • Let's CATCH (NL: 3/10)

A sports game made by PROPE / SEGA. I like the relaxing story mode with the lush graphics and peaceful acoustic guitar, also the easy controls, many different multiplayer modes, Mii support and Let's TAP unlockables are neat. I really like it. 1000pts is pushing it though.
My score: 7/10

  • Stunt Cars (NL: 3/10)

A gift from the developers ICON GAMES ENTERTAINMENT.
My Score: 10/10

  • My Pokémon Ranch (NL: 4/10)

It's a screensaver, a Pokémon farm, you watch those Pokémon run around, fight, sleep, or play with Miis and each other. You can pick em up and stack them and make photos. It all is quite fun in the beginning, and you start it up every day to get a new Pokémon, and even the ranch gets bigger. This gets stale after a while, so if you don't have Pearl or Diamond handy to get some worthwhile options available I wouldn't get it.
My Score: 5/10

  • Sandy Beach (NL: 4/10)

Oh no! I was intrigued by the idea, but camera and controls are unnecessarily sluggish and unintuitive. Building a sand castle is a chore and not fun. The tower defense mode is too frantic and frustrating and feels like an afterthought. Music and graphics also lack. I could live without this game. Want the 500pts back.
My Score: 2/10

  • Runner-ups:

Ghost Mansion Party (NL: 4/10)
Well, I thought this is a different and decent four player party board game.
My Score: 6/10

Pop-Up Pirate! (NL: 4/10)
The minesweeper mode and Mii support help this game getting out of the trashbin of the matrix.
My Score: 2/10

Texas Hold 'Em Poker (NL: 4/10)
Not as good as Texas Hold'em Tournament in online but better in its offline mode. Online is much more important for that kind of game though, so I recommend you pick up Texas Hold'em Tournament instead.
My Score: 6/10

  • Now the other way around - The games NL scored high as if they were high.

My Aquarium (NL: 8/10)
Yes, quite fun in the beginning. Just like the Pokémon Ranch syndrome. You make your custom Aquarium tanks, and then just watch them fishies swim from left to right, and from right to left, occasionally feed them, and hope to get a new fish unlocked soon just by wasting your time with this boring product. At least it's a good classical music collection.
My Score: 4/10

My Zoo (NL: 8/10)
Without the customizable options of designing your own place, without the good graphics and classic music, and without the vast variety of different animals this is such a disappointing "sequel" coming from the My Aquarium makers. You can just feed, and pet your animals, then wait until there's dirt, then pick it away. Thanks but no. Animations and models of all of the animals are superugly. Pay&Play for more animals is a cheap rip-off move on top of that. Whoever wrote the review must be fired!
My Score: 2/10

MaBoShi : The Three-Shape-Arcade (NL: 8/10)
Hmm.. I expected something new and different and not just three minigames. Three minigames for 800pts that is. Well, at least there's a 3-player-co-op-mode, an innovative replay mode, Mii support and MaBoShi DS included.
My Score: 5/10

Pop Them, Drop Them SAMEGAME (NL: 8/10)
Most versions of this game, like Super Collapse, have a plethora of different options and funny game modes. WiiWare's Samegame looks basic and cheap compared to them.
My Score: 5/10

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a Darklord (NL: 8/10)
6700pts I've paid for this. It's just not worth it.
My Score: 5/10

  • Runner-ups:

Robocalypse: Beaver Defense (NL: 8/10)
This has no polish and the art direction is crap. And the pointer controls don't quite work with such tiny art and overloaded graphics. This is the third tower defense disappointment on WiiWare after Sandy Beach and Darklord.
My Score: 4/10

BIT.TRIP CORE (NL: 8/10)
For me the worst in the series. Personally I can't have fun with this one. BEAT is 6, VOID is 7, RUNNER is 8. CORE is...

Gradius Rebirth - 6/10

I agree that it's average. But in the EU it's only 600 points so could give it a 7.

Dr. Mario and Germ Buster - 7/10

I love it - 10/10. It was my first Dr. Mario experience, so that makes a big difference.

Adventure Island the Beginning - 7/10

Very solid platformer and there aren't enough of those on WiiWare. I'd give it an 8.

Zombie Panic in Wonderland - 7/10

It's pretty good. 7/10 is fair

Tetris Party - 8/10

Tetris is Tetris. Some of the extra modes are fun. Fair score.

I'll try to only mention stuff with at least a 3 point difference.

sPOGS Racing
Nintendo Life score: 3/10
My score: 6/10.
Hey, it's definitely not broken, and Crash N' Grab is pretty exciting. At this point though, I wouldn't recommend it over the other racing games that are now available.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
Nintendo Life score: 5/10
My score: 9/10
Never played the originals, and for such a low price, it's a great deal for such a great experience.

Let's CATCH
Nintendo Life score: 3/10
My score: 8/10
A very interesting experience. The story mode actually has a story to it, and it's all very relaxing. You've got the extra modes like challenging your throwing aim and catch timing, so I think it's a worth-while experience for the open minded.

Gradius ReBirth
Nintendo Life score: 6/10
My score: 9/10
I never played a Gradius game for more than 4 minutes before, and I haven't ever really sat down with a horizontal scrolling shmup before, but I'm a big fan of shmups in general. This one kicked my ass 7 ways to Sunday but I couldn't help but love how hard it was. I think I've still only managed to make it to the 5th level, and I play on the second lowest difficulty.

Bruiser & Scratch
Nintendo Life score: 4/10
My score: hard to say
This is kind of an odd one. It's not flashy, it's not broken, it's just really, really hard. There are a lot of levels, but I can't play them because I can't figure out the puzzles before them. Perhaps this was a product of not play testing the game enough to realize that the puzzles might be too hard, but there's nothing broken about the game and if you want a tough puzzle game, then it comes highly recommended from me.

Grill-off! with Ultra Hand
Nintendo Life score: 5/10
My score: 8/10
I probably don't disagree that much with the contents of the review, but I put more value in the free part, I guess. It's a lot of fun for a few minutes at a time, and it's free.

Evasive Space
Nintendo Life score: 5/10
My score: 9/10
I had heard about some complaints about the controls with this one (maybe it was NL), but since controls are impossible to match up without actually playing the game, I kept my eye on it. When I bought it, I was more than delighted with what I got; a really inventive, fun, and nicely challenging game with a good amount of variety.

A Monsteca Corral
Nintendo Life score: 6/10
My score: 10/10
Honestly I was kinda shocked at the score on this one......maybe I'm thinking of another site, but I thought it got at least an 8/10 from here..... Anyway, this is one of my absolute favorites, because it offers that Elebits or Katamari like zen experience that is pretty rare. And for 500 points? Forget about it!

Muscle March
Nintendo Life score: 6/10
My score: 9/10
Again, probably not a game that I disagree with the contents of the review all that much, but I put more value in the insane setting. And again, that 500 point price is really killer.

But these reviews are from more than one person, so I never expect my opinions to match up anyway.

I bought Muscle March for New Year's Eve of last year, and my friend and I had a blast. I thought it was definitely worth the points. It's just silly and fun, exactly what I was looking for.

Ark

Defend Your Castle (NL Score: 7/10)
My Thoughts: When all is said and done, there's very little strategy, endless arm flapping, lack of variety in enemies (which are bland to begin with), brain-dead gameplay, and not much music to be spoken of (none at all!). The lack of music is a serious issue since the sound effects are not plentiful and you'll be hearing the same ones infinitely. On the bright side though, it's got 4 player co-op and it's only 500 points. It's not enough to put a layer of polish over something that isn't fun to begin with...unless you and three friends find flapping your arms around for long periods of time, with little skill involved to be fun. This seems to be the stereotypical game that a Wii hater would mock the Wii Remote for. If you want an arcade experience on the Wii, you have so many other options that are more polished, fun, diverse, unique, and actually have music.

Mart Racer (NL score: 2/10) (Technically, my mother bought this, but I've played the copy on her machine. Granted, it's been a long time since I played it.)

Although the motion controls on the game are useless, using the button controls makes this a rather unique and challenging title. I like the fact that you have to unlock the boards, instead of having them all open at the beginning. My score: 4/10

Sandy Beach (NL score: 4/10)

I had a lot of fun with this one when it was new, especially since I'm a fan of Rampart. I really enjoyed the crab mode. Sadly, one level in the Build a sandcastle mode had a bug, which meant I couldn't beat it. If this game had a WIFI mode similar to Rampart which used Wii Speak, it would be a much better game. At the time, I was rather disappointed with NintendoLife for their low score of the title, but today I'd probably only improve the score by a little bit. My score 5/10.

Cocoto Fishing Master (NL score: 5/10)

Before the game came out and I bought this game, I wanted the game so badly. I'd bought the racing game for DS, but I had never tried it. I love cartoonish graphics with racing games and I was looking for something similar to the fishing in Animal Crossing. I tried hard to get the motion controls in this game to work and they never could work. I was so crushed that I haven't bought another Cocoto game since and I still haven't opened the DS racing title. Maybe I should open it someday, since it can't be any worse than the fishing title. 1/10.

Magnetica Twist (NL: 7/10)

A friend gifted that game to me and I think NintendoLife's review is right on target for both the text review and the score.

Dr. Mario Online RX (NL: 7/10)

I'm a very good Dr. Mario player and I greatly enjoy the chance to play against my friends on WIFI. I think the score is perfectly on target, since there have been many previous versions of this game, some of which had some better spins on the game. It's still worth every point I paid.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney got a 5/10. I give it an 9/10, but then again it was my first time playing it.
Justice For All faced the same fate. I gave it a 7.
Trials and Tribulations - 6/10, I give it a 10 OMG.
Dr. Mario Online Rx got a 7. I give it an 8. It's Dr. Mario how can you not love it.

Niki - Rock 'n' Ball (5/10)
For only 100 more Wii points I could have gotten something much better.
My Score: 5/10

Grill Off (5/10)
I'm out 80 nintendo coins for 5 minutes of awful game. I liked the motion controls though.
My Score: 2/10

Muscle March (6/10)
500 point Wii games all pretty much suck but I think this one is the best of those cheap games. But the game drops the ball when it comes to multiplayer (it's just hotseat).
My Score: 5/10

Final Fantasy IV the After Years (7/10)
It's big on level grinding and little on story. Plus the much better original is only 800 Wii points.
My Score: 4/10

Zombie Panic in Wonderland (7/10)
I thought this pricey game looked funny, but it wasn't. My money should have gone towards Sin and Punishment 2 or HOTD.

Family Card Games - NL Score: 4/10 - My Score: 7/10
The overall design is good. Daifugo is an excellent card game and works well online. Speed is a good game for local multiplayer. Memory isn't much, but it does a decent job of filling out the package. It's almost impossible to find an opponent online, but I can't count that against the game itself. It's just very underappreciated, which is a shame, because I'd love to be able to play Daifugo online from time to time.

Chess Challenge - NL Score: 5/10 - My Score: 5/10
It does as advertised, letting you play chess online, and very little more. It contains a bare bones set of features, and many of the board and set options make it harder to differentiate pieces and board positions. On the bright side, the online system works fine. I completely agree with the NL review on this one.

TV Show King - NL Score: 6/10 - My Score: 7/10
This is a pretty good multiplayer trivia game. It's simply been made completely redundant by the greatly improved (and cheaper) sequel TV Show King 2.

Fun Fun Minigolf - NL Score: 6/10 - My Score: 5/10
This is a decent multiplayer minigolf game, but it has some big issues. There's only 30 holes in the whole game, many of them overgimmicky and/or too challenging. It has weird rule differences from real minigolf. It doesn't even save local high scores, let alone have online leaderboards.

Uno - NL Score: 6/10 - My Score: 7/10
This is a pretty good Uno game that can be played online. It also includes plenty of rule variations. Unfortunately, the single player mode is too weird and can get frustrating at times. Also, local multiplayer is nearly worthless with everyone able to see everyone else's cards at all times. Still, it's worth it for online play alone.

Fenimore Fillmore: The Westerner (4/10)
It's a pretty fun adventure game, although it is a bit buggy. Still enjoyable, though. I just wish I didn't need to keep getting carrots for the horse. To get around that I just grew 50 or 60 of them early on and they lasted for the entire game.
My score: 6/10

Grill-Off with Ultra Hand! (5/10)
I agree with the score, it was fun for a little while and that's about it. I'm not interested in most of the Club Nintendo prizes, so it wasn't a waste of coins to me.
My score: 5/10

Muscle March (6/10)
A surprisingly fun game. My only problem was the game rarely recognizing when I'm trying to change the position of both arms at once. The game would move the arms one at a time, and that small amount of extra time that it takes is enough to run into a wall once the level starts to get fast (ugh, the bookshelves...).
My score: 7/10

Pokemon Rumble (8/10)
A pretty fun game, but the repetition makes it a bit boring.
My score: 7/10

Wario Ware D.I.Y. Showcase (8/10)
I'm torn on this one. I have the DS game and got the showcase to go along with it. I played DIY for a while and made a few games, but the novelty wore off pretty quickly and I got bored with it. So I never really used the showcase very much. The microgames included with it are pretty good for the most part, though.
