The reason why I sucked was because that was my first match EVER. I didn't bother with single-player at all. This isn't over yet!

I think the Red Symbols mean Level has been selected, I'm not 100% sure. Consult the guide?
Oh, that was you? I loved facing you! Heh heh. Was lots of fun especially in the big Plaza! And yeah, I have no clue why it takes long for it to start. Keep in mind that (A) there's a time limit of over 2 minutes and (B) it won't go on until everyone has the stage chosen.
Like I said above, I think the Pink symbols mean that the person has chosen a level already and the thumbs up means that they wanna stay in the group (no more searching for other opponents).
@Stevie - Exactly! I'd like to know what those mean too. I'm having a heck of a time trying to get online matches even started. Once we want to start, choose the place, but it won't start.
@KnucklesSonic8 - I choose my place and just get the thumbs up and STILL can't start the game. I'd like to find a 800 number to hudson to ask about this.

I wonder how you get to watch the matches? I've only done it twice.
Edit - Am I the only one having problems getting online matches to start. There are times when it seems the othet person is waiting for me, but I don't have a way to get the match started. I've noticed too, that instead of a thumbs up, others get a pinkish symbol by their name for some reason.
i've had a few problems starting matches too. when i'm the first one in, it doesn't seem to start. If i join up with a group already playing i get to watch their current game. When they fininsh the next round starts up no problem.
