Hey,
Like the title says, i want to have a nice cvollection of wii ware games.
I have all of my 60 virtual console favorites, so know i want to plan which wiiware games i should download ^^
First i must say that I already got 4 wii ware games,

Pokemon Rumble
Gradius Rebirth
Contra Rebirth
FF My Life as a Darklord

I know many wii ware games but i dont know if they´re really that good that they supposed to be.
Like These titles : Castlevania Rebirth, Overturn, Onslought, Excitebike, Military Madness, FF My life as a king. World of goo

Are they good ? Are they long enough for the price ?
Or do you recommend other games ?
Please tell me something about

the official recommendations are there for a reason one of them being to prevent clutter of the forums from too many threads.

Castlevania the Adventure ReBirth isn't really like recent Castlevania games like the ones on DS or GBA, so don't go in expecting that. It's more like the ones before Symphony of the Night; level based and free of RPG elements, instead of a full open world with RPG elements. If you've never played one of the classic ones, then it might actually be cheaper to get one from VC. I'm not the right person to ask about the originals because I don't have experience with the 2D series before the GBA games. Length-wise, if you thought the other ReBirth games were worth the money, then from what I've heard Castlevania ReBirth should have no trouble satisfying.

Overturn, Onslaught, and Excitebike should be given extra consideration because the online community for them is likely dead. I haven't played Overturn, but Onslaught 'ought to still be a lot of fun and a lot of play time if you go for the best rankings on levels. Excitebike is just as good as well, but like Castlevania you might give some consideration to the VC original if you're not that interested in the more modern set-up, or saving multiple created tracks. You might find Excitebike too short without the online play.

Military Madness; by most accounts, the VC original is better. So you might as well get the VC game, which is well liked by those that played it.

I've only played the demo of World of Goo (that demo is no longer available in the U.S.) but I'm sure a lot of people would still say it's the best thing on WiiWare. There's more variety on the goo building idea than you might think possible, and the music and art bring a lot of charm to the whole package. One of the more expensive WiiWare games, but also one of the biggest and best.

I like practically everything I own for WiiWare, so I could give lots of recommendations. But before I write a novel, you might narrow it down to which genre's you like the most.

Even though you want to post here, this is a duplicate thread and will be locked soon thanks to theblackdragon~

So it would be best if you just moved your post to the WiiWare Recommendations Thread.

You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

Some really awesome Wiiware games that everyone should own are:

World of Goo (1500 pints): One of the very best if not the best game on Wiiware. Pretty long gane considering you will probably get hung up at at least several levels for a while. Everything from the visuals to the music to the gameplay is simply outstanding. Its a work of art and so worth 15 dollars.

LostWinds 1 and 2 (1000 points): Two very very solid puzzle/platformers. They are a tiny bit on the short side clocking about 3-4 hours front to back on both but there is some replay value in going back and finding the hidden items in the world which could easily give each game an hour or two extension. Even if they are quite short, every second of the gameplay is just so intuitive and enjoyable.

NyxQuest (1000 points): Another very dolid platformer/puzzle game that is a pleasure to play. Again, a bit on the short side like LostWinds but the gameplay is quite intuitive and stays very fresh throughout. The graphics are also very top notch for Wiiware. Overall a great Wiiware title.

Fluidity (1200 points): Just wow. One of my definite top 3 favorite Wiiware games. There are four main areas all with a bunch of Rainbow drops to collect as well as hidden ouzzle pieces. The use of the Wii remote is just so perfect and finely tuned. And the game is always dropping new ideas and mechanics on you so it always stays fresh. It is just so creative and brimming with awesomeness I can't reccomend it enough!

Bonsai Barber (1000 points): A very quirky but very well-polished Wiiware game. This is another one that puts the Wii remote to fantastic use. Basically you're giving a cast of plants different haircuts and trying to get a 5 star cut. It can be quite addictive and there are a high number of achievement-esque things to strive for. Overall very fun and very creative.

Bit Trip RUNNER (800 points): A pretty fun but extremely challenging title. Many useres here hold this one on a pedestal above all other Wiiware titles. In my opinion it deserves no such pedestal because there are definitely better things than it on the service. That said, its still a very enjoyable, quite lengthy game and great for anyone looking for a ridiculous challenge.

Bit Trip FATE (800 points): The game in the Bit Trip series after RUNNER and one that I personally like more than RUNNER. Again, a pretty dificult game. Even with only 6 levels they are all quite long and you will be playing most of them multiple times because of the constant death. If you're into arcadey shooters this could very well be for you.

Tetris Party (1200 points): Probably don't really need a description for this one. Its Tetris with a bunch of creative modes as well as full online play. Worht it for any Tetris fanatic.

Art Style: Light Trax (600 points): A very cheap, very enjoyable arcade/racer. This is a very well polished and difficult racer. The visuals are truly striking and there is alot of gameplay here. I highly recomend this abstract racer.

Those are the handful of games with my shining absolute recomendation that you really probably should own. That's not to say that they are the only great things, just the very very best things. More games that are definitely worth a serious look include:

TV Show King 2
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King
Excitebike World Rally
Maboshi's Arcade
Dr. Mario Online Rx
Art Style: Orbient
Art Style: Rotozoa
NEVES Plus
Phoenix Wright 1-3
Strong Bad Chapters 1-5
Tales of Monkey Island Chapters 1-5
lilt line
Zombie Panic in Wonderland

Again, there are planty of great games beyond these, these are just the ones I have personally played and recommend highly. Hope this assists you in gathering you collection
