Nordcurrent's sequel to ARCADE ESSENTIALS is finished.

Just like the first game ARCADE ESSENTIALS EVOLUTION features 5 retro games in a stylish new look.

1 - LUNAR PARKING (lunar lander)
2 - SMASHOUT (arkanoid)
3 - VULCANOIDS (asteroids)
4 - TOADER (frogger)
5 - SCOLOPENDRA (centipede)
coming out soon.
the trailer looks good: www.nordcurrent.lt
Did you like the first game? It featured clones of Q-Bert, Missile Command, Qix, Galaga, and Puzzle Bobble in the same "laser" look.

@vonseux I would've said the same thing about RCR, but this month's Nintendo Power apparently has exclusive details on it. Care to share them Komic or anyone else with the May issue?

Even before the new issue of Nintendo Power, why would you think it had been cancelled for WiiWare? We've known for a couple of months that it will be coming out in May, and VBlank has never removed WiiWare from its list of supported platforms.

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

@SKTTR, I've been thinking about downloading another WiiWare racer, since I never play Moto Heroz anymore. I was just wondering which WiiWare racer you would recommend between either TNT Racers or Rush Rush Rally Racing. I was disappointed by the fact that Moto Heroz never received any DLC, because I was anticipating it for awhile. Do you know or believe TNT Racers will eventually receive any DLC, or will low sales once again hurt any chances there of? I don't know anyone to play local multiplayer with, and TNT Racers' online multiplayer is a definite attraction for me. I'm just not sure if there's enough gamers out there who own TNT Racers. I really wouldn't want to be forced to persuade any of my Wii friends into downloading it. What are your thoughts on this matter?

Sorry, haven't downloaded TNT Racers.
I always wanted to try it and hoped for a demo. But if you're interested in it, I might get it as well, and we could play some online!
I know it has online multiplayer but I never heard of DLC.
Just realised it is a German game, so maybe I should support my own country a bit more... but what have I done? Instead I got the Hollandish Rush Rush Rally Racing!

As for RUSH RUSH RALLY RACING haven't you read my review?
For anyone interested, instead of copying a wall of text, you can find the link to the review on my backloggery.com/skttr
The game is pretty good if you're into topdown racers. As for a single player experience, well you might get your moneys worth as well (but most of the value comes from the 3 multiplayer modes). Anyway, single player lets you play for hours as well. Theres a Grand Prix, 19 tracks, time trials, 18 challenges, even some exploration and 21 achievements. Just read my review. It covers everything important you want to know.

@SKTTR, I viewed some YouTube videos of, "TNT Racers," and the tracks seemed rather short for my liking. I understood why the tracks were fairly short in Moto Heroz. I'm not sure if I'd have the same understanding, when it comes to, "TNT Racers". I think I might just decide to look further into, "Rush Rush Rally Racing". I created a, "TNT Racers (Friend Code Exchange)," thread, but there hasn't been a single reply since. I have no idea if it's region locked either, so it might not even be a possibilty for us to race each other. I read your review for, "Rush Rush Rally Racing," but you didn't mention how lengthy the tracks are. Could you please elaborate @SKTTR?

Every course has a set round of laps. Most of the time you have to race 3 laps.
There are laps that are just 15 seconds, and you often have to race 4, 5 or 6 laps then.
And there are tracks that take up to 1 minute per lap, but you only have to race 3 laps then.
So there's a variety of courses in different sizes spanning from 15 secs to 60 secs per lap.
The Grand Prix (10 courses) takes 15-20 minutes.

Sometimes you can leave the course to explore for secrets, then you realise that some of the stages are somewhat huge.
Just for your information, there are no track borders, the tracks loop infinitely to all sides as if you're playing on a little planet.

If you have any more questions we'd better go to the Rush Rush Rally Racing thread.

Removed Save the Furries (SDP Games) from the list, because it has been released in NA and EU the other week
and Protocol (Sabarasa) as it's getting ported over to another console that is most likely WiiU.

So whats left of WiiWare? We are still waiting on Retro City Rampage and La Mulana is currently in limbo since the developer is looking for a new publisher. But what happens to WiiWare after that? We really haven't seen much of WiiWare in the past few weeks besides Furries and Frogger, is this a sign that WiiWare is dieing? Does anyone know the full list of known upcoming releases on WiiWare?

Don't think there will be much. There will be something new on Wii U N less than 6 months. But la mulana and RCR are tempting. I have 1100 points now and I am contemplating whether to buy FAST racing league or wait for either of them. Then again I know I'll end up buying lots of points anyway for old WiiWare or VC games...

Doesn't look like too much. Rally, Retro, Descent and Mulana look good. Arcade Essentials seems to be another one of those games with knock off mediocre clones of real arcade games. Everything else I can't really comment on since I know nothing about them.
