Oh, I might have it wrong then. I did find it odd to challenge a chance of color from a player. But this makes more sense. Too bad that this ruins the game in offline multiplayer as you can see the other players cards. But thank for the explanation. Have to try it out tonight.

Only if you want to use Wii Speak and find friends online. Wii Speak use just requires you and the people you want to speak to be registered as Wii friends using the Wii system code.

The UNO friend codes allow you to find your friends for an online match (you can join the game they're currently playing, or set up a game and they can find you, but you wouldn't need that to chat.

The big reason in regular uno (assuming the rules are the same online), that someone would use a +4 Wild to change to a color he didn't have would be because they have another +4 card they want to get rid of. +4 cards are worth 50 points, so if you're worried someone will go out soon, and you have more than one, you will deliberately change it to a color you don't have so you can get rid of the second one the next round. That way if someone goes out quickly, you're not stuck with those points in your hand.

@Sean: hmmm thats weird, anyway i might buy it once it comes to the states, i have wii speak but i dont have games that use it, not even the conduit

i have had my uno dsiware community topic up for a while now you can join my community if you want to but you must agree you will use the online mode when you buy the game

There are now over 5000 players on the online ranking leaderboard. About 1500 are Japanese and 3500 are Europeans. The game has only been out a few weeks. How many Americans do you think will buy it 5000, 10,000?. When i go online it all ways has players online.

i am getting uno dsiware first. but i wonder if i should get this one along with it becuase i have never owned any game consul version of uno. also can you have your own username and not have to pre-select one from the menu?

Geek-master You can have your own name. You must get this if your a big UNO fan it's only 500 points thats $5 i think. I had never played UNO before. I thought it was a silly American card game but i was wrong it's bags of fun and takes some skill to win. I am glad i download it now. S**t i am going to play it right now
