The Magic Obilisk was removed from the wiiware service Why did they remove it instead of some of the horrible games on the service?

That...doesn't really give any details. It's probably still there, you just aren't looking hard enough.

No I looked at every single game on the service and it isn't there I even searched for it by its title and it said no software currently available
4. Posted: Sun 7th Aug 2011 20:46 BST
Odd. That's actually a game I had been considering purchasing.
5. Posted: Sun 7th Aug 2011 20:47 BST
I was going to purchase it just before I posted this topic Can somebody else confirm this?

Well that stinks I wonder why it was removed?
9. Posted: Sun 7th Aug 2011 21:15 BST
At least it was released at all in America.

I'll trade this for Xenoblade Chronicles

The magic obelisk does look really good but I'd much rather have Xenoblade chronicles, it looks amazing!

I purchased this game a while back and fortunately it is still available for me to download again in the Titles You've Downloaded section of the Wii Shop Channel.

Not to be a debbie downer but one of the most obvious reason would be if Game Arts has closed.

Well that sucks. I thought that I might get that someday. I hope this doesn't with others.

Yea kinda suck that THIS gets taken off and not some OTHER "game". Happy Hollidays, Fireplacing, etc....
I checked too and saw it nowhere.

I'm gonna hold out hope and think that perhaps there is a bug or something that they convinced Nintendo to let them fix. Other studios have went down such as the one behind that samurai toaster game and those games are still up.

Give it a day or two and then check for it again. Sometimes the Shop Channel hiccups and you won't be able to find a game, and then it'll be back all of a sudden — i know i've seen it happen before myself.
