Curly floated off of my back while fighting the fish boss, and I was freaking out. Thinking that I had just killed Curly, I restarted, then left her in the cabin. Then after reading a walkthrough I learned you're supposed to let her drift away. I had to restart the game, and play it over again.

Not funny story at all: I just had to restart twice for similar errors that I didn't realize I'd made until almost to the end.
I like secret endings, but has there ever been one more ridiculously obscure than this? I can't imagine someone figuring this out without a guide, unless after playing the game a million times and just wanting to try every possibility.
nicalis confirmed again that the updated version is entirely done and that they're just waiting on that PEGI rating to release it. they say it'll definitely be here during summer; hurry it up, you crocodile wrestling kangaroo riders.
@Adam That video was actually posted on Nicalis' official blog, but at least romulux posted it here so more people can see it. @romulux I wish I was that good at fighting Rabid Toroko. He was easily one of the hardest bosses in the game (without the Life Pot) for me.
And you have to use a Life Pot against her? That's insane. The only bosses I have to use a Life Pot against are Living Core or Ballos. (Sometimes for the Core, but every time for Ballos.)

@Kingbuilder Without using a Life Pot she is hard; I don't use it, obviously, since I need it for Ballos. I've never used a life pot on either version of the Core.
Cave Story is my 2nd most-played game on my Wii, now. Clocking in at over 200 hours according to the Nintendo channel. I've made a Cave Story theme for my Backloggery, and I heard some of the awesome unused music.
