You can discuss what achievements you have and tips on getting them, and just talk about the game in general.

If you need help with a mission, just tell me and I'll give you advice.

Caution: Possible Spoilers in my post.

I'm thinking of a good mission to try to get the Rickrolled achievement but saving my mana until the end isn't working out so far. I think mission 6 of the Aztec storyline is where you first get access to the boulder. I'm going to try to get the Dying on the Edge one by randomly sacrificing troops on the bring of death.

Blotting out the sun is easy, send a bunch of monkeys with your rocketeers, and then yin yang the rocketeers 5 times sending monkeys and warriors as they go along, and place Buddha towers wherever you can. Then your mana will build up, and once they send out all of the catapults the rocketeers will die, and a new shipment will come in. Then you yin yang spam them (while sending monkeys and warriors)

P.S. - i got pity the fool

I could use some major strategic help on level 9 for the Aztec campaign and level 6 for the Chinese campaign. In each level I tend to do quite well for about ten minutes, then the computer just starts pouring enemies and spells on me and the match drags into an infuriating forty-minute match where I gradually and imperceptibly lose ground almost the whole time as my troops can almost never kill theirs. I end up having to kill them with spells to stay alive, but that of course does not last.

It's really getting on my nerves how tough this is. Skirmish rules though.

@adam, for mission 6 chinese campaignj ust fight normally, except make a large amount of rocketeers and mild amounts of zen masters and monkeys. After 5-10 minutes, they'll be at the other side of the screen while your workers are getting lots of gold.

and mission 9 aztecs, (i have to look at what mission that is, ill post something here later) But first tell me what part you're stuck on in the mission.

I destroyed the enemy's vegetables. Then the vikings came to my aid and I really started kicking butt. Each time I play I get as far as the enemy's gold mines when my last viking catapult dies. Thus begins my slow and bitter defeat. From there I lose an inch at a time for many painful minutes.

I'll give your Chinese strategy a swing. Thanks! I'm not exactly the best at RTS's, and the single-path levels of S&S are especially hard for me.

EDIT: Beat the Chinese level. Wasn't as hard as I remembered. Either you give the greatest advice ever or I confused it with the Aztec level.
DOUBLE EDIT: Beat the next one, too. Man, is it just me, or is the Chinese campaign easier than the Aztec one?

Well, if you come up with the greatest advice ever for level 9 on either Chinese or Aztec campaign, let me know!
Also, it's just a hunch, but I might need help on level 10 of each campaign, too.

for mission 9 on chinese just spam monkeys and rocketeers, and make sure you get arrow rain also. Then you move along and build a tower as you go, and eventually he will kill all of his own units. this may take a try or two though. Make sure you cage the necromancer and use a shield on the monkey thats getting attacked by the tower.

I'm still plodding through the Vikings with the odd campaign play here and there. I did mission 8 or 9 yesterday (destroy the mind-controlling giant chili). What a great game this is, truly an outstanding quality release all around; if it had online a perfect 10 in my book.

Hopefully Ronimo aren't a one-trick pony and we'll see something else interesting from them in the future.

Awesome, I just did a bunch of rocketeers and Yin Yanged them, using the occasional necromancer to make a skeleton buffer. Didn't need monkeys or arrows, though now that I think of it, I don't think either were even options.

Oh, and I finally beat the Aztec campaign, hooray!

Last Chinese level now! Go Pooh Ki!

The last mission in Chinese campaign will take you 30+ minutes Its hard to give advice on that one though, but spamming rocketeers always works

@Sean With online play it might have even gone over 10 (if thats possible ) as the replay value of it would be extremely high.

Wow, i got keep your lousy army in under 6 minutes. Thats almost impossible as it normally takes 40+ minutes

edit: looks like someone else did also on the S&S forums.

i have 20 out of 25 but with my lack of timing in jumping with rock mini game, and zoning out in beserker run after 360 meters, i am close to giving up on the 25 achievements

I'm getting tired myself of tryig to get these achievements quickly. I've been working on this every day all day since day one (except fiance was here yesterday so didn't do it as much, but still quite a bit). I'd like to chill out and do something else. Maybe playing against someone online. Kind of sucks being on one game for that long straight, you're just trying to get achievements.

I'm at 21/25 achievements now with only the challenge achievements remaining. What's your tips on Berserker mode? Personally, I would think you could earn Son of Norris in this mode if you make it far enough, especially if you make it all the way.
