I've seen the video, and I thought it looked mediocre, not terrible though. I'll wait till I get a free copy.

Hi RichIcon. I was just wondering about any news on a European release date? 'Cause I'd like to try this game out myself

RichIcon, although the ratings are low, I have the advantage in purchasing any game that comes across the board caus' i'm a 'Gamerdad' with young kids (6 & 9). On Friday, i'll be getting Stunt Cars. I would have gotten it already, but I have no points!! Statistically, one of us will like it! Forward march sir! Looking ahead to your next release!

Darn I wasn't fast enough, I will be buying Stunt cars next week when I get my Christmas points and I will give you my feedback RichIcon.

@RichIcon I got questions and a suggestion. What made you decide to not use items? Does the Boost restore after each lap? Was online races and online leaderboards for time trials possible?

Heres my suggestion that may raise sales, Stunt Car Demo. This is a good idea for the demo, Once someone downloads the demo they are limited to 1 cup and 2 cars. Once they beat the cup then they will be redirected to the wiishop channel.

A demo would be a great idea for this and many other WiiWare games, but they haven't become a standard for developers to look into. Hopefully this changes in the near future.

We've just missed the Christmas slot, so it is going to be Jan sometime - hopefully 2nd week of January.

Regarding the jerky Shop video - it would appear we messed up the NTSC video conversion. I have asked Nintendo if we can resubmit the video with the error corrected.

The demo is a good idea, and we'll look into this - but most likely future titles now.

A wii modern racer should be reasonaly playable with the wii wheel imho. I'd definately download the demo though.

Yes, Lana, Nintendo has final say on pricing of the Shop Channel titles. NES VC would probably be more appropriately priced at $3, sure... but in the market psyche, $5 is a delineator beneath which they'd be leaving money on the table. In other words, someone who would buy the game at 3 bucks, probably would also pay 5.

And here in a NY with a Starbucks on every corner, they're probably right.

i thought nintendo would just suggest a price they think the game is worth, but you have final say (i heard this somewhere like a year ago)

Certainly from a development perspective it wasn't - we put a lot of time, care & love into it. We really tried to get a nice little old-skool racer together with a decent set of features and graphics.

I really don't think it's nice to diss the game while a maker of it is here.He is saying they put work into it so maybe you guys should try it!

Melvin, you're right of course, that people should be decent in general. But this is the big leagues. Releasing a product available to MILLIONS of people is surely the culmination of a dream for which the guys at Icon worked very hard. But an unavoidable truth is that they can't please everyone, and among those they don't there will be some who will be very, "blunt," shall we say? Taking criticism is something for which those who reach for great heights need to prepare. Being demoralized by negative comments can't stand in the way of a driven entrepreneur. Instead, to neutralize the venom within any criticism, and then channel it towards future efforts is why Rich is here, I'll bet. And I'm pretty confident that because he's come this far, he can do that too - without needing people to censor their comments.
