Why would you say that @hatty475? The Wii has barely been receiving any attention lately and it was made available long before the 3DS was. Licensing Sega CD titles for purchase on VC could bring back the much needed attention that the WiiShop is lacking at the moment. And just maybe breath a little life back into the Wii, especially for all of the veterans.

I was referring more towards Sonic CD coming to eShop, but I honestly would prefer it on Wii. But like Sega said, Nintendo's 40MB file size limit is keeping pretty much any Sega CD game off WiiShop. Nintendo may remove the limit at some point, but I'm not crossing my fingers.

I think it's due to that retail price adjustment issue, that Nintendo was addressing not too long ago. The steepest Wiiware titles are only priced at 1500 pts. or $15. If WiiWare titles with larger file size limits were made available, they may actually cause competition for retail releases. Which intern would eventually devalue retail titles or considerably increase their prices. And everyone knows that Nintendo isn't about loosing equity, so Nintendo would most likely combat this with the latter option. )<:

Topic: Sonic CD is never coming to WiiWare, eShop, or (more than likely) VC.
